After the week she had, it's not very surprising that Blake Lively skipped the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards.

Instead, she posed for pictures in the press room wearing a rather modest (for her) Michael Kors and purple Louboutins.

It's not exactly the most exciting ensemble, but we get why Blake chose this.

After seeing a gaggle of celebs wearing the label at the Grammys, Blake Lively continued the red carpet trend in London at the Elle Style Awards.

The Gossip Girl starlet wore a spring 2011 blue tiered halter dress, which is just a fancier way of saying mullet dress.

We're not LOVING the look or her purple Louboutin sandals, but the gold accessories are a nice touch.
