The King's Speech Director To Do Les Miz?

Back in October, the musical version of Les Misérables celebrated its quarter century birthday.
Now, it looks like a new film version of the Victor Hugo novel/Broadway musical is in the works, and The King's Speech director Tom Hooper may take on the project.
Unlike 1998's non-musical Les Miserables film which starred Liam Neeson, this version is being "conceived as a big-budget musical."
We think this is a great idea! We fully support exposing a new generation to Les Miz…especially if Tom Hooper works on the project. He's definitely got the directing skillz to pull it off.
Are U excited for more Les Miz? Do U think the King's Speech director is right for the project?
