MASSIVE congratulations are in order for Stella McCartney, who just received an OBE from Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday.

What an honor!

The designer attended the Investiture Ceremony at Buckingham Palace with husband Alasdhair Willis and looked phenomenal in a navy skirt suit of her own design and cobalt blue pumps.

Kind of similar to Kate Winslet's Queen-meeting outfit from last year!

An embellished and veiled headpiece gave her the most regal air, and we're sure the Queen appreciated it!

Congrats, Stella! You SO deserve it!

2012 was quite a year for Stella McCartney.

The designer saw her clothes being worn by big-name actresses and models all over the world, won the Designer Brand and Designer of the Year Award at the British Fashion Awards, and got the venerable honor of designing the uniforms for Team GB at last summer's Olympic Games.

Nice!

Now, Paul McCartney's talented daughter was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for her services to Britain as a fashion designer.

Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen was the latest designer to receive the honor, so Stella's in really good company!

We are so proud of Stella. She's truly come a long way since her days at Chloé. And we bet the best is yet to come!

In fact, we have a feeling she's now officially in the running to dress Kate Middleton's baby bump!

While performers went all out for the Olympics Closing Ceremony, Kate Middleton took a more demur approach for Sunday night's festivities.

The Duchess of Cambridge stood next to brother-in-law, Prince Harry, looking prim and proper in a blue floral print Whistles dress with her glossy locks styled in loose curls.

Kate actually wore this dress to Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee concert in June, but when you look this fabulous who cares?

Kylie Minogue serenaded Queen Elizabeth II on Monday at the Diamond Jubilee Concert in London.

The Aussie singer's Richard Nicoll look was customized by Judy Blame. She donned a beautiful, but risqué short jumpsuit, leather jacket and hat adorned with pearl buttons, and black Giuseppe Zanotti boots that completed her look.

Kylie's outfit may have been too sexy for Her Majesty, but we think she looked AH-MAY-ZING!
