Some of England's finest musical acts came out to perform at Her Majesty's Royal Jubilee Concert on Monday.

When we say fine, we're talking about Grace Jones (you hula hooping champ), Elton John, and Kylie Minogue.

But Cheryl Cole? Not so much.

The pop star took the stage in an Eva Minge couture dress that looked like a royal disaster. Between the explosion of fabric, the too tight bodice and bad hair it was just one big fail.

As for her Cheryl's performance, that too was a disappointment.

Poor Chezza. Yesterday was just not her day.

The Duchess of Cambridge accompanied Queen Elizabeth and the Duchess of Cornwall to Fortnum & Mason's department store on Thursday for the unveiling of a plaque to commemorate the restoration of the Piccadilly business district.

For the royal outing Kate donned a pretty sky blue Missoni boucle coat and gray Rupert Sanderson heels.

We think Kate looks gorgeous!

It's refreshing to see her in a brighter and more youthful color, especially after stepping out in one dark coat after another last month.
