In a joint statement with producing partner Reid Carolin, Tatum said they would no longer be developing their "lone project" in development with TWC, which ironically is a story about a young boy who suffers sexual abuse.

While acknowledging the project, an adaptation of Matthew Quick's book Forgive Me Leonard Peacock, is a "powerful message of healing," Tatum noted that he and Carolin were happy to seize the "giant opportunity for real positive change" following the outpouring of accusers coming forward against Weinstein.

The actor, who had worked with Weinstein on Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, concluded his announcement with a call for action, writing:

With so many bravely speaking out to condemn Harvey Weinstein's inappropriate behavior amid his sexual harassment and assault scandal, Quentin Tarantino had little to say.

Jennifer Lawrence Encourages Unmasking 'Pathetic Cowards' From Charlottesville White Supremacist March On Facebook!

We've seen some strong responses (though not so much from Donald Trump) to the deadly white supremacist march in Charlottesville. But this one may be the most savage.

Jennifer Lawrence wants to take a page from her upcoming director Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds — and brand all the neo-Nazis with a swastika on the forehead.

Virtually speaking that is.

Sharon Tate's Sister Clarifies Comments About Jennifer Lawrence Not Being Pretty Enough To Play The Murdered Actress

no title

For the record, Debra Tate DOES think Jennifer Lawrence is pretty…

Just not Sharon Tate pretty!

The late model's sister was blasted on social media after deeming Lawrence not attractive enough to play Sharon in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming movie about the Charles Manson murders. Deborah tried to do some damage control with J.Law fans in a new video on TMZ, but still made it clear she doesn't think the Hunger Games star is the best fit to play her sis.

While Margot Robbie — who is heavily speculated to be playing Sharon — was her first pick to play her sister, Debra says there might be another actress out there who would make an even better choice.

Since Debra controls the rights to Sharon's likeness, she certainly has a right to discuss her sister's portrayal. Still, there's a difference between being picky and just plain difficult.

Maybe the director should just return this woman's phone calls already?

Uhh, Sharon Tate's Sister Doesn't Think Jennifer Lawrence Is 'Pretty Enough To Play Sharon'

Do you agree??

The controversy is just starting surrounding Quentin Tarantino's upcoming movie about the Charles Manson family murders.

It was rumored Jennifer Lawrence would be starring, though no official word has come in on whether she would snag the role of Sharon Tate… or her killer Susan Atkins (it's heavily speculated to be Atkins as Margot Robbie is currently the best bet for Tate).

The Manson Family Murders Are Just One Of Hollywood's Darkest Moments

no title

The news that Quentin Tarantino is doing his own take on the Manson Family murders has renewed interest in the crime spree that shocked the nation.

If you're not sure why it remains one of the bloodiest stains on the streets of Tinseltown, here's the short version:

Not only was movie star Sharon Tate (seen above in her husband Roman Polanski's film The Fearless Vampire Killers) murdered, she was done so in brutal fashion — while eight-and-a-half months pregnant. Four other people were murdered that night after Charles Manson's followers broke into the couple's Los Angeles mansion.

And one of the most disturbing parts? The motive for the crime has never been confirmed as Manson didn't even know Polanski, Tate, or their friends. Police even theorize he meant to kill the home's previous tenant, a record producer who had snubbed him.
