Instead of reaching for that second coffee after lunch… stimulate your senses with some sparkling water + a splash of pineapple juice. Extra caffeine will leave you feeling sluggish later on, while the water will make you feel refreshed.

If you’d like to make bench pressing more challenging, try putting your feet up on bench or raising them. This makes the exercise more challenging, but first master it with your feet on the ground before you progress to this. Skip the decline presses too, they are easier to perform and not as effective.

When you are running on a cardio machine, don’t take the “calories burned” number literally. They are usually an overestimation. Use online exercise expenditure calculators to get a more accurate number.

Tomatillos are great for a Fit Lifestyle: they are incredibly high in vitamin C for beautiful skin, Potassium to support heart, muscles and detoxify blood, and Fiber to aid in digestion. Tomatillos are also low in calories and give a flavor and nutrient kick to your favorite recipes. Try chopped up in guacamole, enchiladas, salsa, salad and tacos. Look for them in the produce section of most grocery stores, and select ones that are blemish free and bright yellow or green.

Does your job order takeout everyday?! Swapping a side salad instead of fries can leave you unfilled. I usually
ask for a side of carrots & chickpeas or tomatoes and mozarella drizzled with balsamic and fresh basil (most places,
especially Italian restaurants) will have these ingredients on hand.
