Tomatillos are great for a Fit Lifestyle: they are incredibly high in vitamin C for beautiful skin, Potassium to support heart, muscles and detoxify blood, and Fiber to aid in digestion. Tomatillos are also low in calories and give a flavor and nutrient kick to your favorite recipes. Try chopped up in guacamole, enchiladas, salsa, salad and tacos. Look for them in the produce section of most grocery stores, and select ones that are blemish free and bright yellow or green.

especially Italian restaurants) will have these ingredients on hand.

Not a fan of running on a treadmill because it’s uncomfortable (like me) or maybe you’re just bored with the gym? Try Bikram Yoga (google it in your local area)…it’s a great way to sweat out toxins and get your body healthy. Coming from someone who is not a fan of exercise, I do it Mon-Fri at 6AM and have discovered it is my passion!
