Our pro party planner, organizer, and all around motherhood expert Amy Malin is here to make your life easier!

If you have a baby, of course. Otherwise you can do like Amy and plan ahead, ha!

Check out some great tips from one of our most amazing contributors…

…Here's what she said:

"Good dental hygiene is important for lil cuties. Even if your baby only has one tooth, it is important to brush it twice a day. Get a rubber baby toothbrush which fits on your finger and some organic toothpaste and brush your baby's teeth (however many he/she has!). If your baby is drinking formula, the sugar will sit and form decay on their lil baby teeth, so be sure to brush after their last bottle of the night and when they wake up in the morning. Even babies can get cavities, so start your precious little ones out right by taking great care of their teeth."

So helpful and so necessary!!!

Thanks again, Amy. You always seem to have the most essential advice!

Quick Tip Of The Day!

Perezitos Quick Tip

Perezitos.com's mommy expert, Amy Malin's Quick Tip:

"If you can't afford a Summer vacation this year, plan a "Staycation" for your family. Sleep in late, cook a gourmet breakfast (dulce de leche french toast anyone?) and enjoy some R&R by your pool (or if you don't have a pool, head to the beach!). Make tropical drinks with cute paper umbrellas and some homemade guacamole with chips for everyone to enjoy and crank your favorite tunes! Take a break from work and your cell phones and just enjoy some quality family time together no matter where you are."

Perezitos Quick Tip

Perezitos.com mommy expert Candid Mommy’s Quick Tip:

"Seasonal Shoes for Kids- buy just once!

Children's shoes can cost an arm and a leg… they either grow out them or destroy them in a matter of weeks. I have found that by investing upfront in a more expensive or better made shoe it will last. And when it comes to sizing have your child sized by the experts! They will be sure to help you pick a well fitting shoe now with room to grow for later! Often more factors can be found in a children's shoe store!"

Perezitos Quick Tip

Perezitos.com mommy expert Candid Mommy’s Quick Tip:

"New baby? Download a white noise app! This has been a lifesaver with my 6 months old… instead of spending hours "shushing" him I am able to enjoy rocking him to sleep while his favorite noises play in the background from our white noise ap! (This can totally help with the crying, colic & more!)"

Quick Tip Of The Day!

Perezitos Quick Tip

Perezitos.com's dietician and mommy contributor Lisa DeFazio's Quick Tip:

"Being TOO strict with your child's diet can backfire. If you are too strict and tell your child he/she cannot have any sugar, sweetened cereals, fast food, soda or other typical foods that their friends are eating, these children often become adults with major food issues. As adults they often over eat and binge on the foods their Mother or Father told them they could not eat as a child and they rebel as adults. Therefore, an occasional fast food meal, soda or a piece of cake is FINE, you cannot shelter them from the world of food! As a registered dietitian I have seen this first hand when counseling over weight adults who had parents that obsessed about food and restricted ALL junk food! Just keep your child active, and the majority of the time feed them healthy foods! "
