united simon the rabbit cause of death

Simon The Giant Rabbit's cause of death is to stay a mystery.

As we previously reported, United Airlines once again faced a bit of negative PR after a 10-month-old Continental Giant Rabbit died following a flight from London to Chicago. So sad.

While it was first believed that Simon died in the cargo hold of a trans-continental United flight, a spokesperson for the airline defends the rabbit was alive upon landing in the Windy City. According to United rep Charles Hobart, the animal passed away in a pet holding facility at the airport. Is this their way of saying it isn't their fault??

To make matters worse, Simon's cause of death is to remain unsolved as Hobart noted:

Not every hare makes it to O'Hare Airport, evidently.

United Airlines' PR crisis tour continued after news broke that Simon the giant rabbit died in the cargo hold of a trans-continental United flight.

The 10-month-old Continental Giant Rabbit, destined to be the world's largest, was flying from London's Heathrow Airport to Chicago's O'Hare Airport on his way to meet a new "celebrity" owner.

Sadly, Simon was found dead when the plane landed at O'Hare.

More confused than anyone is breeder Annette Edwards, who said the animal was as "fit as a fiddle" when she placed him in the cargo hold. She told The Sun:

Animal Serial Killer's Death Toll Rises To 17… And Officials Are Scared Humans Are Next!

This is straight up sociopathic!

17 animals have been found dead by scalpel in Canada over the past year, and authorities are starting to think the serial killer could upgrade to human targets soon.

Throughout 2016, nearly a dozen and half animals — including coyotes, snakes, rabbits, geese, dogs, and cats — have been found mutilated in public places around London, Ontario, with their blood drained and their organs professionally removed.

While the killer was mostly only attacking wild animals at first, a headless dog was found skinned outside a beer store last Friday… which, in addition to a cat carcass located alongside the Thames River recently, means he's officially going after domestic animals as well.

But to make things even worse, Judy Foster, executive director of London Human Society, believes this crime spree could have started TWO years ago when the animal rights organization received a skinned goose at their front door!

Judy spoke with London Free Press about the serial killings on Wednesday, saying:

Over 400 Neglected Animals — Including Cats, Rabbits, Turtles, & Even An Alligator — Rescued From A Single Disgusting Home!

This must have been one truly disgusting rescue mission.

When you hear "Operation Noah's Ark", you may be inclined to imagine a group of people pleasantly interacting with sets of beautiful animals.

Unfortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth… as authorities in Upstate New York just rescued more than 400 animals from a home in worse than dire living conditions!

According to the Nassau County SPCA, workers were called to a home on Tuesday when neighbors reported strange smells and noises coming from the house… only to find hundreds of birds, turtles, and other pets and wildlife left to die.

Apparently, home owner Gary Gruber had become too old to take care of the animals himself, and despite his best efforts, the creatures were living inside feces-encrusted cages that took eight hours to clean.

Of the 400+ animals found, authorities identified 251 birds, 151 turtles, four reptiles and a dozen mammals — including rabbits, prairie dogs, a chinchilla, a skunk, and even African Grey parrots and other endangered tortoise species!

This news comes less than a year after Gary was cited for keeping a 4-foot long alligator in his home… but for some reason, he was allowed to keep his six cats and dogs despite potentially facing animal cruelty charges.

Thankfully, the birds and turtles have been taken to a wildlife sanctuary in Long Island.

These celebs count on veggies to put the spring in their steps!

We're just a little over a week away from finally getting out of Winter and welcoming Spring weather into our lives, so we thought it'd be the perfect time to dust off our carrots. (Not a euphemism!)

Hollywood is all about image, so it's no surprise many A-Listers opt for healthy vegetarian and vegan diets… but as Easter approaches we can't help but imagine them as little rabbits chowing down on their veggies.

Just picture Carrie Underwood or Ariana Grande as baby bunnies! Cute, right?!

So which celebs have diets similar to rabbits??

That's because as if her bunny ears weren't festive enough, her green, pink, and yellow striped shirt also featured a rather large rabbit as well!

We love that the top half of her body is 100 percent wacky while the rest of her is in a simple pair of short shorts and sneakers — well, besides her SO SO Happy x Wicked Hippie ‘Wink Face Jewelz'.
