What a horrible situation.
According to People Magazine, longtime USA gymnastics doctor Dr. Larry Nassar sexually assaulted two girls on the USA Olympics team.
Per the report, Larry allegedly fondled an underage girl listed as "Jane Doe" during physical therapy sessions. The revelation comes on the heels of Nassar's firing just last year.
In addition to Jane Doe's claims, gold medal winner Rachael Denhollander claims the sick doc penetrated her with gloveless fingers in addition to groping her breasts when she was just 15-years-old. The brave girl made the admission to authorities at the University of Michigan (where he's a faculty member) last month.
What's especially upsetting is, the 53-year-old worked for the team for a whopping twenty-nine years. It's sickening to think of all the underage girls he could have harmed!
To make matters even WORSE, the lawsuit claims the USA Gymnastics organization actively tried to cover up the crimes while also doing nothing to address the gross situation.
We'll keep you updated as this case progresses.
