A big, important scene for Fast & Furious 7 was given the brakes by studio execs at Universal because it was just too dangerous and too risky.
The shoot was being set up over at Willow Springs International Raceway just a mere 45 minutes away from the site where Paul Walker died.
We're still so sad thinking about that awful day!
According to sources in the crew, producers were about to use "authentic street racers" in a scene where a tricked out yellow Chevelle pops a wheelie as a crowd cheers!
Even Vin Diesel was on set at the time, as the shoot was being prepared for many days, but the Universal brass cancelled the shoot right before it was to start.
Apparently, members of the staff couldn't get the proper insurance before the race began.
Well, in lieu of the tragedy with Paul, we think better safe than sorry is the appropriate mentality to have!
