Such a tragedy!

Jacintha Saldanha, one of Kate Middleton's nurses who fell victim to a radio prank was found dead in her home Friday morning, the cause of which is believed to be suicide.

King Edward VII's hospital where Jacintha worked for years released a statement, and now St. James Palace has released their own thoughts on the horrible event.

The statement reads:

Jacintha Saldanha, a trained nurse who was attending to Kate Middleton during her extreme morning sickness, has reportedly committed suicide.

Jacintha was apparently fooled by Australian DJs Michael Christian and Mel Greig via a radio prank into transferring their call to Kate's private carer, who then divulged confidential information live on air.

Jacintha was helping out on reception at the time.

King Edward VII's Hospital, where Saldanha had worked for years, confirmed the identity of the nurse and released this statement:

Prince William was spotted being the ever dutiful, loving husband Wednesday while he visited Kate Middleton at King Edward VII Hospital, where she's currently staying due to a severe bout of morning sickness.

We wonder if Wills got a tad heated while he was there, seeing as a certain radio prank tricked the hospital staff into divulging confidential information about his pregnant, sick wife?!

It's ok Willy Will! It was just a harmless joke, no need to get MI6 involved!
