If you ask her, Anne Hathaway can only think of one thing that is a deal-breaker when it comes to relationships:
"Uh … fraud?"
Ha! Such charm!
You'll all recall the devastating blow to Anne's pride and heart two years back when it was uncovered that her boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, was found guilty of money laundering, conspiracy and wire fraud. She reveals to Vogue that shooting her most recent movie with Jake Gyllenhaal, Love and Other Drugs, all the trust issues she had to overcome came boiling back to the surface. She explains:
"I was a wreck from start to finish. I think I cried every single day … Gosh, I hate talking about the breakup, because I don't want it to define me, but as is to be expected, there were a lot of lingering trust issues, and I think that making a film about trust that required a great deal of trust – well, it was a challenge to get there…When I begin a relationship, there's that pressure to be the most, to be more comfortable and open than anyone else. When you finally realize that you can just be your own scared, f-ked-up self and that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it's such a great relief – when uncondensed you is enough."
Girl, no worries! Issues and all, you all kinds of gorgeous and sexy! He's lost himself a true gem by being so greedy!
And we're glad to hear you joke about it a bit now! Means you're starting to move on, which is something we all want for you! You deserve a prince, girl, not a thieving pauper!
