What an incredible week for previously-private celebrities in the LGBT community!
We think everyone can easily agree that Jodie Foster's acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award at Sunday night's 2013 Golden Globes ceremony was one of the most powerful, unexpected ways in which an actor has ever revealed his or herself to the public as a homosexual, and while she deserves all the praise and admiration she has garnered for her layered, introspective reflection on her life and accomplishments, it's ALSO nice to see one her fellow thespians open up about his private life in a much more to-the-point fashion!
And that is EXACTLY what Victor Garber, best known for his work in Titanic and Alias, did during last week's TV Critics Association Press Tour, for his upcoming role in NBC's Deception!
Apparently, when asked about his Wikipedia page listing him in a same-sex relationship with Rainer Andreesen, his companion of 13 years, Garber acknowledged:
