Raisinface Goes Bananas For Barbie

On Tuesday night's episode of The Rachel Zoe Project, Rachel Zoe unveils her latest project: styling Barbie as well as getting her own look-a-like doll!

Rachel and Barbie are about the same size, so it makes sense.

Both dolls were auctioned off on CharityBuzz, with the proceeds benefiting Project Angel Food.

Raisinface Dies For Fashion

Rachel Zoe was shot for an editorial in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar where she lit-er-ally dies for fashion.

The spread called "Rachel Zoe: I Die" shows what would happen if the celebrity stylist actually died from fashion and how designers like Michael Kors and Vera Wang would carry out the kill.

We think the editorial is brillz, but holy photoshop Harper's Bazaar! The finished pictures look like paintings rather than photographs.

Taylor Speaks Out About The Rachel Zoe Project Premiere

After last night's more than catty season premiere of The Rachel Zoe Project, Taylor Jacobson is trying to set the record straight on what really went down between her and ex-boss Rachel Zoe.

Since Tay never had the opportunity to go on camera and tell her side of the story, the bleach-blonde stylist sat down for an interview with TV Guide.

Here's what she had to say:

So you've heard about the premiere. What happened there? Why did you leave?

Uh-huh. I've heard a lot about it. … For legal reasons, I'm not really allowed to discuss it, which makes it hard for me to give "the juice." But what I heard about the first episode is pretty amazing. I heard there is ripping out of pictures and throwing them into the fireplace.

Do you still talk to Brad? You two had become close.

No. You know, you've got to sever ties to a toxic environment and go forward. I'm trying to stay positive. There's obviously horrible s— being said about me in the media. It's no secret that certain people who shall not be named are trying to blacklist me and get me kicked off jobs and talk s— to some of my clients. There has been a lot of cattiness from certain people. I don't go into it. People who work with me and know me know I'm not about this bulls—. I'm about the job. I can't get caught up in this. Ties were severed. Whatever happened happened, and it's time to move forward.

In terms of the cattiness, has there been fallout for you? Has it cost you work?

It's been a mix. When one door closes, another one opens. It's definitely been… I don't want to say it's been rocky because I've been working consistently. I've gotten to do a lot of things I wanted to do. But there are people out there who can throw their weight around.

The people who worked with while you were with Rachel, have they stuck by you?

Yes, pretty much for the most part.

Was there any thought to appearing in the third season? To defend yourself, if nothing else?

No, I was done. No more TV for me. My ultimate dream is to be a costume designer, so if I could get into that over the next five to 10 years, I'd be stoked.

Do you feel like you were fairly portrayed on the show before you left?

Reality TV is faux reality. It's a contrived reality, and everyone knows that. I was an extremely hard worker and I still am. So, in that sense, yes. As much as people want me to go off on the show and Rachel, I don't really have anything to say about the woman who I am not allowed to talk about. Really, I don't have ill will. It's time to move on and I have.

The first episode contains flashbacks to your happier times with Rachel. She often referred to you as family. Are you hurt at all by how things have ended?

I have an answer for that, and while I would like to say what I have on my mind, I don't think it would be good. When you work for anyone high profile, you sign a confidentiality agreement. That's why I really can't talk about it. I will say this: I don't fit into sample sizes! Where did that even come from? I'm not a size zero. I have 34-D boobs! Models are flat. I don't fit into samples. I don't understand. It's the weirdest thing to me. I'm fat.

Word is you have been approached by other networks to do a spin-off series.

Yes, but I'm not interested. Also, I'm not a catty person. I did four years. I've worked with other celebrity stylists. With Rachel, I was just at a point where it was time for me to do it on my own and concentrate on my career and on where I want to go and what I want to do — and not be under someone's shadow. Things in the styling business? The lines get blurred. Things get misconstrued. There are always two sides to a story. I don't know anyone who hasn't been supposedly fired by Rachel — just investigate her past with clients and assistants. It doesn't matter really what I say. The going back and forth? I don't want to keep perpetuating it. There are 50 million things that I could say, but where is that going to get me

It's kind of unfair that Raisinface can constantly bash her in the media and on TV, but Taylor can't because of legal issues. Then again, Taylor's looking more mature and professional while Rachel just looks childish.

Hopefully Rachel will move on — and soon!

Raisinface Talks About Her Husband

On season 3 of The Rachel Zoe Project, which premieres tonight on Bravo, Rachel Zoe's husband Rodger Berman will finally have a purpose on the show besides nagging his wife about her spending and health.

Raisinface says of her hubby of 18 years:

"He's very strong. You know he's kind of like that silent strong, but this season he's not so silent…Rodger sort of sometimes stays on the sidelines and those people who are really close to him are the only people who really know what he's made of."

The celebrity stylist adds that Rodger talks like she eats, only when necessary.

To see a more chatty Rodger, tune in to The Rachel Zoe Project tonight at 10pm on Bravo!

Taylor Jacobson Finally Speaks!

After being raked through the mud in the press by former boss Rachel Zoe, stylist Taylor Jacobson is finally talking about all the positive things going on her life post-Raisinface.

So what's Taylor been up to? You know besides styling Kate Beckinsale, consulting Armani Exchange' El Lay store, and blogging as the new face of Everyday Minerals?

Here's what Tay revealed:

You left Rachel Zoe Inc. almost a year ago. What are you up to these days?

I’m styling, I’m building my roster of clients — you know, editorials, campaigns, personal shopping for private clients I have. I’m pretty much doing the same thing, just on my own. Also, I’m consulting with my denim company, Kasil, and we’re introducing denim pieces and separates — you know, everyday casual chic pants, blazers, vests. I'm really excited about that because I’ve never done that before. I have a blog.

Who are you styling?

Obviously it was all over — the news about Kate [Beckinsale]. I have a celebrity clientele, but I don't want to say who else.

Have you been offered a spinoff?

Yes. I don’t know if I’m really cut out to do reality TV. It’s just not the direction I want — I’m so awkward. There’s things on the table, but it’s not my priority.

What was the transition to self-employment like?

It’s scary when you’re on your own, you know? It’s you — everything rests on your shoulders. There’s definitely been some bumps in the road and there’s definitely been some bad rumors out there. It’s scary, but I’m doing my best.

How does it feel to be working on your own now?

I was ready. To, like, go off on your own, do it for yourself, have your own clients, have your own ventures. In the terms of, like, getting your world, your accounts set up — like your FedExes — it’s been a lot of work. But I’ve never been happier. I assisted for a long time — serious stylists, actually — and I just felt like it’s time.

Do you have an assistant?

I have an assistant — she’s great, a real trooper. We were stuck in Big Sur on a location shoot with no Internet, no phone, no TV, no pay phone, in the middle of nowhere with 50 racks of clothes, poison ivy. It was horrible, like horrible-kill-yourself stuff, but she really came through. She’s been working for me seven, eight months.

Do you have interns?

I have interns. I like to roll deep — with lots of clothes, too.

Are you going to Fashion Week?

I think so, actually. But you never know.

What advice do you have for aspiring stylists?

First of all, it’s not glamorous. I feel like people don’t realize that it’s a lot of manual labor — you’re schlepping garment bags, you’re not in the most glamorous locations. But never give up. If that’s your dream, start interning at a PR company. Even try to get something, if you are from a small town — every town has a playhouse. Try to intern in their costume department. Intern at magazines — just intern and start. The minute you have that idea. just start, because it takes time.

Sounds like she's doing just fine without you Rachel!

Raisinface Still Slamming Ex-Assistant!

Almost 6 months after leaving, Rachel Zoe is still being catty toward her ex-assistant Taylor Jacobson.

How mature!

Tay says she left RZI on her own account while Raisinface accused her former employee of stealing.

Neither of them commented on the stealing accusation until now. Rachel dished to WWD about the situation, saying:

"That was so real that I cannot even tell you how real that actually was. It was like, I hired Brad [Goreski, Zoe's other assistant], this little angel, and then Taylor just went in for the kill. And I, like, did not see that coming. I always knew what she was capable of, but who knew that was going to happen with the camera?"

Zoe was also asked what she thought abut Jacobson's consulting job with denim brand Kasil, to which she responded:

"Ugh. Oh yeah. [A line] that I've never heard of. I don't care what she does. How's that? How's that for an answer?"

We think it's time to let this whole thing go Raisinface. Holding grudges at your age is just downright immature!
