The singer’s organization Raising Malawi has teamed up with The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation to help bring Grassroot Soccer to the area!

GRS is a testing and prevention program, which will go into communities where Raising Malawi has already built schools. They use soccer as a teaching tool, if you hadn’t already guessed that. Ha!

We friggin' love U Madonna!

Her Majesty has been spending a lot of time in Malawi looking over the schools she helped build with her organization, BuildOn, and while she was just chilling inside one of the Chorwe Primary School's classrooms yesterday, she decided to go outside and enjoy a day with the kiddies.

As the Give Me All Your Luvin' songstress surrounded herself with adorable children, we couldn't help but notice her smiling face, which made us adore her even more.

We're glad to see that the legendary star is doing everything she can to make the world better.

We need more people like Madonna!!

The Truth About Madonna & The Investigation Into Her Raising Malawi Charity

madonna-malawi-lawsuit1__opt.jpg

We're about to clear the air via Madonna's agent on a couple of things.

The last few weeks have been rough for Madge. A lot has been said about her and the mismanagement of her charity, Raising Malawi. We've heard reports of the government intervening and the disheartening news that her planned school for girls has been scrapped. However, there has been no official word from Team Madge on any of these stories…until now.

This morning, her rep took to Madonna's website to release an official statement, saying:

"In recent days a number of wild and totally false rumors about Madonna's philanthropy–spread by bloggers and tabloids–have begun appearing on the internet. As we have said previously, Raising Malawi is currently undergoing a series of positive changes in an effort to serve more children. Neither Madonna nor Raising Malawi is being investigated by the FBI or the IRS. It is unfortunate that people have chosen to say things about Raising Malawi and Madonna that are not true. Madonna remains committed and focused on what matters helping the children of Malawi."

Finally - the truth. Granted, there's not a lot of truth there, but at least it's something.

Perhaps, with a little more time, Madonna and her team will fill us all in on the real issues that are hindering this incredible project. We know it must be something fairly serious as we know Madonna's passion for it.

More Madonna Kabbalah Drama

Filed under: Icky Icky PooMadonnaSad Sad

more madonna kabbalah drama

Last week, we were sad to report that Madonna had been slapped with an unfair dismissal lawsuit from former employees of her Raising Malawi charity, due to the fact that plans for her new girls school in the country fell apart.

Then, we heard that Kabbalah leaders were blaming former disgruntled members for Madonna's current troubles.

Now, one year after Madonna's former personal manager Caresse Henry committed suicide, new questions are being raised by Henry's sister Yvette Dobbie, who believes that Madonna and her connection to Kabbalah played a part in her sister's suicide.

Here's what Dobbie had to say about it:

“Madonna and Kabbalah have blood on their hands. They killed my sister as surely as if they would have pulled the trigger themselves. They don’t want to hear this, but I don’t care — I’m not in the entertainment business and I’m not intimidated by Madonna.”

“The cult aspect, the all-encompassing intrusion into her life, how you think, what you eat, how you meditate … that really didn’t sit well with my sister. She was Catholic and didn’t think this was a good thing.”

“Madonna was done with her, it was over, and it would be handled by lawyers. When Madonna is done with you, she’s done.”

More from Dobbie:

“She was just crestfallen, devastated, heartbroken and felt very betrayed. She couldn’t believe that Madonna let the Kabbalah people have such a heavy hand in it through all of these years that she was loyal to her. Everyone was telling my sister, ‘It was Kabbalah. [Madonna] is doing what she has to do.’”

“When she started out working with Madonna, Caresse was this vivacious, happy girl, and the longer she was with Madonna, her life changed dramatically. Being with Madonna was very toxic to her.”

Such a sad, complicated, tragic situation.

What do U think about Dobbie's comments?

Madonna SUED After Malawi School Plans Fall Apart!

madonna-sued-by-former-employees-for-unfair-dismissal

Oh no! This is a terrible development in an already unfortunate situation!

Madonna is currently being slapped with an unfair dismissal lawsuit from former employees of her Raising Malawi charity, now that plans for a new girls school in the country fell apart!

As we reported, the singer was hoping to build a $15 million development near the capital of Lilongwe, but was abandoned once reports surfaced that suggested that there was some financial mismanagement. Executive Director of Raising Malawi, Philippe van den Bossche, quit back in October, and now, the board of directors has been completely dismissed.

Now, however, eight pissed off employees have pressed charges, according to their lawyer, Mzondi Chirambo, who explains:

“Their employment was terminated by the trustees of Raising Malawi Academy for Girls ostensibly following the change of plan not to build the school as planned. My clients are also being forced to sign a discriminatory termination agreement before they are paid their benefits.”

Yuck! What a mess!

In return, Madonna has 14 days to respond to the allegations, but has also reportedly looked into filing a suit against those who caused the plans to collapse.

Such a shame that so much ill-will has come from something that was supposed to better so many young people's lives.

Here's hoping that they don't lose sight of that, and can reach some sort of amicable agreement.

When Madonna has an idea, it's nothing but the biggest and the best for Madge!

The pop icon is currently following the footsteps of Bob Geldof by planning a Live Aid type charity concert to benefit Malawi, which will be shown on TV around the world.

She has already called several of her celeb friends, including Bono, to perform at the Walk Out of Poverty concert in September.

A source at her Raising Malawi charity has confirmed that plans are well underway so that Madonna "make(s) this the biggest fund-raiser the world has ever seen. (She) is throwing everything into it. She knows the bigger the event the more money will be raised."

We know that if Madonna is planning it, it will be amazing! We can't wait to see who else she lines up for the concert!
