Randy Travis Got Slooshed With God Due To Women Troubles

Oh yeah. This has all the makings of the next big country jam!

Earlier today, we learned that country music legend Randy Travis was found drunk in his car in front of a church in Dallas yesterday and was hauled off the jail on a public intoxication charge. Now, we've learned why he decided to wine it up at the house of God — he had just gotten in a fight with his girlfriend.

What the two were at odds about, the police are unsure, probably because she wasn't there to explain and Travis was to drunk to even attempt to explain. According to the police report, when the cops tried to get Travis out of his car, his "speech was so slurred" no one could understand a word he was saying.

And then he barreled out of the car like a sack of gin soaked potatoes. Yee-haw!

Whatever the troubles are between them, we don't think he went about the right way of solving them .

Country Singer Randy Travis BUSTED For Public Intoxication!

In front of a house of God no less! For shame!

The big news out of Dallas this morning was the arrest of acclaimed country singer Randy Travis. Early this morning, the cops were called to a local Baptist church after someone spotted a suspicious vehicle. When the police arrived, they found Randy chugging down on a bottle of sacramental wine, drunk off his rocker.

Randy was hauled off to jail, but was booked, cited and released in the same span of time it probably took him to get hammered.

Wonder if he'll turn this bender into a Billboard chart-topper? Cowboys like to write songs about their embarrassing drunkscapes, right?

Guess Who Is Marrying His Mistress?!

Filed under: Music Minute > Love Line

That would be Randy Travis.

The National Enquirer is reporting that the country singer is simply waiting for the ink to dry on his divorce papers to manager Libby Hatcher. Then, he's off to the chapel with his dentist's wife and new lover, Mary Beougher.

Ending his 19-year marriage to his manager-wife seems to be a rather smooth transition for Randy, but friends close to him say it is bringing out the worst in him. While Randy's allegedly been house-hunting with his new gal in Gainesville, Texas, he's also been drinking again, something he hasn't done in many, many years… something his soon-to-be ex-wife weened him off of because it made him a wild, destructive man.

Friends of his are skeptical and are calling this whole mess a "late mid-life crisis."

If it is, then the joke is on him, as sources claim his new lady friend has been married "several" times and never seems to settle down with anyone for too long.

So basically, he's throwing away what some are calling "one of the most successful marriages in the music business" for nothing!

Well, maybe things will be different for ole Randy! Here's hoping history doesn't repeat itself, for his sake!
