Janay Rice talks about her husband beating her

After Thanksgiving, a judge ruled that Ray Rice was to be reinstated into the NFL after he was suspended for knocking out his now-wife Janay Rice in an Atlantic City elevator.

And since the legal proceedings are over, Janay gets to tell her side of the story now.

On Monday, she confirmed to Today's Matt Lauer that it was the first time Ray had ever hit her, and that she feels betrayed by the

Ray Rice Now Eligible To Play In NFL After Brutal Domestic Violence Case

ray rice reinstated to nfl

We have to say this is still kind of shocking.

We knew Ray Rice was trying to be reinstated to the NFL this year, but we weren't sure it was going to happen considering the brutality of his domestic violence case.

But now, his indefinite suspension has been overturned.

A judge just ruled that NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell abused his role when he extended Rice's 2-game suspension and made it an indefinite suspension. The judge determined that Goddell had no right to change the suspension after the video came out because Rice had already told the truth about what had happened.

However, the Baltimore Ravens did cut ties with Rice when this whole incident blew up, so it's unclear if Rice will be picked up by any team.

Ray Rice Set To Testify In Court After NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Gets Questioned By His Lawyers

Ray Rice will testify in court today in hopes of having his indefinite suspension appealed.

Just days after Adrian Peterson avoided jail time in his child abuse case, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has to immediately switch his attention over to another ugly scandal.

The commish made his way to a New York courtroom yesterday where he testified and was cross examined in Ray Rice's hearing to appeal his indefinite suspension from the league.

The hearing stems from the footballer's suspension that took place nearly two months ago after footage showed him punching his now wife Janay Rice in an elevator, knocking her unconscious.

Every Halloween there are always people who get a little too creative with their costume ideas and take things too far.

We're sure lots of people have pretty weird ideas for costumes (sexy Kim Jong-un) but most don't act on them.

Though some bad eggs have apparently been dressing up in Ray Rice jerseys and dragging around blow up dolls (representing his now wife Janay), mocking their violent elevator incident from earlier this year.

That's just awful.

SNL Mocks The NFL's Response To Domestic Violence AND Makes Fun Of Chris Brown In The Same Skit! But Did They Go Too Far?!

This is one way to get people's attention!

Saturday Night Live's new season premiered last night, with Chris Pratt as the host, and he was all in on this skit!

The writers made fun of how the NFL handled Ray Rice's domestic abuse scandal, as well as many others, and they definitely hit some chords!

In the skit, the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers players introduced themselves with their name and the crime they committed, instead of their position. Well, this was sort of funny, but went awry when Kenan Thompson introduced himself as "Kendrick Douglas. I hit my wife." All the laughs abruptly stopped, until his ‘wife' popped up, saying she hit him back, which people started applauding.

Um, aren't we trying to stop all domestic violence here?

And then they jabbed Chris Brown at the end, saying that he'd be the halftime performer for the game.

Take a look (above) and tell us if you think SNL went too far, or if it was just right?
