Another one bites the dust.

Following American Idol winners like David Cook and Lee DeWyze, Kris Allen has "split" with RCA Records.

We're not sure whose idea it was to part ways, but the singer's last album didn't do nearly as well as his first. His sophomore effort sold 15,622 in the first week of release, while his self-titled debut sold over 80,000 copies the first week.

Either way, it doesn't sound like he's too bummed and said in a statement:

Lee DeWyze, the season nine winner of American Idol, has reportedly been dropped by RCA Records after his option officially expired in September!

Moesha, er, Brandy is now a part of the RCA/Chameleon Records family and is the studio now putting the final touches to her latest album. In the press release, Brandy expressed her gratitude to the label for this new and exciting opportunity to make music again. She raved:
