This movie is seriously the gift that keeps on giving.
If it weren't enough to know that the new Steven Soderbergh film Magic Mike features the likes of Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, Alex Pettyfer, and Matt Bomer as a band of male strippers, we've just gotten word that the boys will all be getting nekkid together once again - because production is adding additional strip scenes be filmed!
The notoriously difficult director has been attempting to finish the film Nailed - which legitimately sounds like an inspired piece of filmmaking, mainly because it involves Jessica Biel getting shot in the head with a nail gun - but due to financial problems and production snags, it has been sitting on the shelf incomplete since 2008.
We've now learned that after one-on-one negotiations fell apart with financier Ronald Tutor, Russell has walked away from the project, and it will be completed by someone else!
Russell says:
"This has been a painful process for me. The multiple production delays and stoppages, which were caused by David Bergstein and preceded Ron Tutor's direct involvement with me, have now spanned two years, and the circumstances under which the film would now be completed are much different on several fundamental levels than when we embarked several years ago. I, unfortunately, am no longer involved in the project and cannot call it 'my' film. I wish Ron Tutor well."
Tutor counters:
"Russell conducted himself like a perfect gentleman. I understood his position. It really didn't have anything to do with him but with others, and we just reached a point where I couldn't do what he wanted. But it was a decent negotiation between the two of us. No lawyers. No idle threats, just two people trying to clean something up, and we couldn't get there. It was surprising and disappointing, but I understood."
Ha! We're sure he was completely level-headed and rational!
Once a new director is hired, Biel and co-star Tracy Morgan will be expected to participate in re-shoots.
YEESH! It sounds to use like there is no chance of making back all of the money that's gone into this thing! First James Caan walks off the set because he can't deal with Russell's crazy, and now this!

Girlfriend, who finally was freed from her Grey's Anatomy contract after YEARS of whining, has been spotted around town with a drastically different, much darker hair color over the past week!
And just as we were starting to get used to it, she was photographed on the set of her movie, Killers, all blonde AGAIN yesterday!!
Thankfully for her scalp, it was just an extremely good wig, because Heigl was back to black as she left Katsuya in El Lay last night with husband Josh Kelly!!
That being said, she's noticeably missing ONE thing in both these pics - her EFFING daughter!!

Jeremy Renner fans -- you can now rest easy tonight!
While it had recently been rumored that Hawkeye was being recast in the Avengers sequel, it looks like Jeremy isn't going ANYWHERE!
Our sources tell us that the recasting rumors are completely untrue and that he will indeed return to the silver screen as Hawkeye! Phew!
And, though it had been reported that some comments Jeremy made pissed off the execs over at Marvel, we're told he's still "very much a part of the Marvel family."
Not only that, but it sounds like we can expect to see Renner in the upcoming installments!!
