
Kevin Durant has just gone from a basketball icon to a full-on hero in Oklahoma!
The NBA superstar has reportedly donated $1 million dollars to the Red Cross hurricane relief efforts after the city of Moore was struck by a devastating tornado on Monday.
Kevin has taken to Twitter to support the victims of the horrible events and urged his followers to give what they can, saying:

The NHL hasn't been doing much lately, other than not agreeing with anything the player's union says and pissing off hockey fans everywhere.
Finally, they've done something good.

Here's something both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney can agree on.
Hurricane Sandy has devastated parts of the East Coast and the Red Cross needs all the donations it can get for disaster relief! The politicians are calling on every American to help support the cause and have tweeted:
The President took the next step by visiting the organization's headquarters in Washington, DC on Tuesday and warned that "the storm is not yet over."
