jon lester cancer survive red sox baseball help kids

Jon Lester was blindsided when he was diagnosed with cancer, which is always devastating… and yet, he says the disease changed his life in really great ways. He also happens to be a pitcher in the MLB!

He is NOT saying that cancer itself is a positive thing, but if you can beat it, positive things can come from it! It brought him closer to his parents, and he was able to take in and understand love in new ways. The best thing, though, is how it made him tenacious in baseball and helping the world around him!

Mitt Romney Takes 'Full Responsibility' For Patriots Super Bowl Wins

Barack Obama and Mitt Romney recently gave interviews with ESPN's Chris Berman.

Their interviews were shown during halftime of Monday night's Eagles-Saints game.

Obama, a Chicago sports fan, spoke about how the Bears might make it all the way this year and might just have the best defense in the league!

Romney, originally a Detroit sports fan, has lived in Massachusetts for 40 years and during that time, became a biiiiig Patriots and Red Sox fan.

He went as far as to jokingly claim responsibility for the Patriots' Super Bowl wins and the Red Sox's world series title!

Check out the video (above) to hear why Romney thinks he deserves credit for the big wins.

William Shatner, master thespian, isn't actually pissed.

No, he's acting. He's doing what he does best (other than recording albums) for a new music video with Brian Evans!

Brian shot the video at legendary Fenway Park in Boston for his song At Fenway, which is a celebration about the 100 years of action the park has seen.

Of course, we'll take any excuse to see Shatner shatnering it up! LOLz!

Looks like fun — who hasn't wanted to stick around after a Red Sox game to hang out all night with the part lights on??

Too cool!

yankees bus crash

Adding insult to injury, the Yankee's team bus apparently wanted to just "end it all" and wrecked into a fence in the Fenway Park parking lot after its overpaid team lost to the Red Sox 4-3.

Even for a Yankee's bus, a loss to the Red Sox is unacceptable.

Here's what happened:

Hey, everyone it's time for your favorite thing to do… A pop quiz!!!

Question: Which of the following describes Carson Kressley?
A) Emmy Winner
B) Celebrity Stylist
C) Author
D) Fashion Designer
E) Star of Ogunquit Playhouse's summer production of Damn Yankees

And the answer is… All of the above!

Carson Kressley will star in Damn Yankees as Mr. Applegate - all you theatre junkies know what we're talking about - which runs July 25-Aug. 18.

The play is about a Yankees player who makes a deal with the devil where he sells his soul to be the best baseball player, HOWEVER, this version will feature a twist!

According to the production notes, this particular play:

"moves the action from Washington, DC and plants it firmly in Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox."

The revised version is written by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro based on the original script.

Congrats, Carson!!!
