Redmond O'Neal — Farrah Fawcett And Ryan O'Neal's 33-Year-Old Son — Arrested, Charged With Attempted Murder After Violent Crime Spree

no title

This is so unsettling.

Redmond O'Neal, the 33-year-old son of Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett, has been arrested by the LAPD and charged with attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of criminal threats, one count of brandishing a knife and one count of battery.

The adult son of Fawcett and O'Neal was picked up by cops Friday after they investigated a slew of violent crimes and other criminal acts that had been taking place across southern California in early May.

O'Neal — who has a long history of drug problems and run-ins with the law — had allegedly been attacking random people who

Farrah Fawcett's Son Redmond O'Neal Arrested For Allegedly Robbing A 7-Eleven At Knifepoint!

UPDATE! 3:04 P.M. EST: According to The Blast on Thursday, O'Neal was charged with two counts of possessing a controlled substance, one for heroin and one for methamphetamine.

He was also charged with second-degree robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a smoking device, possession of an injection/ingestion device, and two counts of possessing a controlled substance, says the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, and prosecutors are seeking a bail of $125,000.

Redmond O'Neal was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly robbing a Los Angeles 7-Eleven at knifepoint.

According to The Blast, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal walked into the Santa Monica-area store armed with a knife and demanded that the clerk take out money from the register. He even purchased a Slurpee before the robbery.

Police say the 33-year-old fled the store after the employee handed over $60 in cash just before 2:30 a.m. Luckily, a good samaritan had witnessed Redmond acting suspicious and already alerted police.

Cops were reportedly on the phone with the witness when Redmond pulled the knife on the clerk, and apparently heard the entire incident play out.

Shortly after, Redmond was arrested nearby on a robbery charge. Detectives say they recovered a knife from him that matched the clerk's description.

Redmond is being held on $50,000 bail. A judge will determine if he will be released on Thursday in court.

This arrest marks just the latest of Redmond's run-ins with the law. He was sentenced to

Farrah Fawcett's Son Sentenced To Three Years In Prison For Violating His Probation With Heroin Charge

no title

Maybe this will give him some time to sober up.

Redmond O'Neal has had a pretty public problem with heroin in the past while constantly avoiding jail time, but it seems as though his luck has finally run out.

That's because Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal's son was just sentenced to three years in prison for violating his probation regarding his drug addiction.

The 30-year-old admitted to the court that he had slipped back into drugs after multiple stints in rehab and subsequent arrests.

However, Redmond's judge ruled that he had already served 302 days of his three-year punishment, and will probably get out early, meaning he'll most likely serve less than a year behind bards.

Still, that seems like more than enough time to force him to get his head straight.
