We heard it from a third party first, but now Reggie Bush himself has confirmed he is NOT back with Kim Kardashian.

The former couple were spotted laughing and smiling during a lunch date in Beverly Hills last weekend, which of course spurred all sorts of speculation that they may be an item again.

Well, sources caught up with the Miami Dolphin in Beverly Hills on Thursday to ask him about the rumors to his face and he calmly replied, "No."

Sorry guys, we know you ALL really wanted another Kardashian television wedding special ASAP! LOL!

Amid rumors that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush are back together and rekindling their infamous flame, we're hearing the opposite from a source close to the couple.

We're actually hearing that Kim might be handling this in the right way — that they're just friends and she wants to be single for a while. Y'know, take things slow!

"They don't know what will happen. They're taking it slow. They love each other so much and miss each other, but their relationship is so complicated. Things are up in the air. Kim very much wants to take her time and be single and heal from her divorce."

Slow is a good change of pace!

Though, maybe she should try dating someone who isn't a sports star or famous person — see if she can find love in a regular ol' Joe.

He doesn't have to be named Joe, we're just spitballing here! HA!
