Reebok To Tone Again

reebok-planning-easytone-relaunch.jpg

Reebok isn't letting a $25 million settlement for false advertising get in the way of selling EasyTones.

President Uli Becker said at a press luncheon on Tuesday they plan to relaunch the toning shoes in the future:

"Toning was driven by the insight that women care about their looks, and that insight doesn’t change."

Becker didn't go into detail about their plans, but new products are definitely in the works.

Hopefully this time around they'll be honest about the results.

Tavi Turns Editor

Tavi Gevinson is once again proving how powerful she is in the fashion industry.

The 13 year old Style Rookie announced on her blog she's relaunching Sassy magazine, one of her favorites, with the founding editor Jane Pratt.

Kids these days, right?

Tavi made sure to mention that the relaunch of Sassy won't be a "rebirth". She explained:

For one, you can't try to recreate something that good. For another, while I can read old issues of Sassy and relate, the world has changed a bit in the past 15 or so years, and that whole Internet thing happened, and this world calls for something different. Something that will use Sassy as a point of reference for the whole teen-magazine-that-doesn't-suck thing, and something in which Jane Pratt will take part, but something that is not trying to recreate the other something a bunch of us love and don't want to see copied.

The fashion wunderkind didn't reveal when the premiere issue will make its debut, but we're sure the industry will be buzzing when it does.

Biba Re-Launches With Daisy Lowe

After seeing much success in the 60s, Biba is relaunching almost 40 years later with a new look and new face.

The revamped label has tapped model Daisy Lowe to front their new campaign, who said it was an "honor" to be asked.

Daisy adds:

"I've been a fan of the brand since I was very young, When I started my modelling career, and when I first started to understand clothes, Biba was one of the first names that cropped up. I've always really loved Biba so when I was asked to be part of the campaign I was just ecstatic."

Sounds like they got themselves the right girl for the job!

Biba launches next month and will be sold exclusively at House of Fraser.
