Katy Perry Continues To Sing In Support Of Obama Across The Country!

We doubt anyone is too confused about for whom Katy Perry is voting in Tuesday's Presidential election!

The pop star has been pretty tirelessly supporting Barack Obama as he campaigns for re-election across the country, and following her previous rally performances in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, she once again popped up at the Delta Center in Milwaukee last night to continue spreading our leader's message…as well as urge her over-20,000-person audience to donate to the Red Cross to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy!

Angelina Speaks Out On Proposed Quran Burnings!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooAngelina Jolie

We're glad she's speaking out against something so disgusting and shameful!

Angelina Jolie is currently overseas in Pakistan, attempting to bring awareness to the devastation caused by flooding in Pakistan and rally relief efforts, but she took the time today to also shed light on another issue - the disgusting display of hate and bigotry from a Florida church that wants to burn the Quran in 'honor' of September 11th!

This, of course, is the latest act of bullshiz from Pastor Terry Jones and his psychotic evangelical church, the Dove World Outreach Center.

Angie said on the matter:

“I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book."

Agreed 100%! It's positively foul.

We sincerely hope that someone can prevent these psychos from going through with the act before that kind of hatred is put out into the world.

And so sad that people don't even understand why it's so awful and wrong.

But once again, bb, thanks for addressing yet another serious issue! Such an inspiration!

Such an inspiration!

Watch the clip (above) of Angelina Jolie visiting Pakistan in order to raise awareness for the people devastated by the floods in the past few months.

So unbelievably tragic. We hope her presence helps get these poor people the support and disaster relief they clearly need.

Angelina Visits Flood-Stricken Pakistan To Raise Awareness!

There she goes again! She's an absolute inspiration!

As we've reported, Angelina Jolie has been tirelessly trying to raise awareness for those affected by the devastating floods in Pakistan, and has flown out to the disaster-stricken country to bring focus to people in some serious need!

Funding has reportedly stalled, and the actress hopes that her presence as a UN goodwill ambassador will remind other countries that Pakistan needs their support!

She says:

"I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to, today and tomorrow, be able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan."

We hope that her selflessness and generosity will inspire others to reach out and help those poor people suffering!

Thanks for setting such an important example, bb!

The Biebs Donates Big $$$ To Nashville

It wasn't too long ago that we were staring at the bewildering shots of Nashville being submerged in water and even now, the city is still working to rebuild after the terrible flooding earlier this year.

Part of the relief effort was given a huge helping hand by Justin Bieber, who was in town yesterday to perform a concert at the Bridgestone Arena. Before the show, he presented a check to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for $31,620, which came from the ticket sales from his sold-out show.

As Justin handed over his generous contribution, he told the crowd:

"I'm really glad to be here and to help out something that's really important to me. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and you know Nashville, there's so much music history here."

Isn't he just so good! And not only did he donate his time and money, but his organizers, AEG Live, agreed to math the amount he donated to the organization.

That's what we like to hear! Nice work to everyone!

Celebs Help Out The Gulf!

At least someone is doing something about this!

Last night, Larry King held a telethon on CNN to raise funds for three amazing charities who are providing aid in the Gulf. The spill has left a lot of people and wildlife stranded and the money that was raised last night will surely be put to good use.

Helping Larry out was a slew of celebs including Ryan Seacrest, Nicole Richie, Kathy Griffin, Ian Somerhalder, Chelsea Handler, Sam Trammell and Ke$ha! Look, she washed her face…sort of!

In total, the telethon raised over $1.3 million for the oil spill relief! Fantastic!

If you didn't donate last night, make sure to look into ways to help the relief effort in anyway you can. This spill is devastating and anything you can give or do will be much appreciated.

Bravo to the celebs who donated their time and talent to such an important cause!

Oprah Closes Her Angel Network Charity!

So unfortunate.

Oprah Winfrey's charity, the Angel Network - which raised nearly $80 million in its efforts to help Hurricana Katrina victims and those living in third world countries - has stopped accepting donations and will be shutting down after its assets have been dispersed.

The website released a statement that says:

"Oprah remains deeply committed to philanthropy, and her new cable network - OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network - will continue to highlight charitable organizations in conjunction with its programming in the years ahead."

The Big O should be very proud of what she was able to accomplish with the Angel Network! We can't even imagine how many lives that charity bettered!
