It's almost worse to try and backtrack on things you obviously believe, because it's easily apparent that you're only doing it because of the flak you've gotten. It's kind of offensive to assume we wouldn't notice exactly what you're doing!

Chris Broussard is doing exactly all that as he called into the radio show The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 to explain his comments about Jason Collins being gay and to backtrack a little bit! While he still rattles off everything he's read in the Bible (at length), he's also trying to make it clear that he loves everyone and doesn't look down on a single person, even if it might seem like it.

It's worth a listen (above) as he tries to explain himself, and to hear the host liken the whole situation to a white guy saying he 'isn't racist' because he has black friends!

We can't really get into religion here, because everyone is entitled to their beliefs. We CAN get into going into a religious tirade on ESPN when they aren't asking for your personal religious opinions! This interview is different because he's asked specifically about his personal beliefs — we just wish when he was being paid to talk about sports, he would talk about sports!

Easy enough! LOLz!

We allllllllll expected there to be some heat when Jason Collins became the first active gay male athlete in the NBA yesterday, but who would've thought Chris Broussard would've jumped up on his religious soap box LIVE ON ESPN (above)??

It's one thing to have your beliefs, but when they systematically treat a group of people less than others, that's when you should probably not go on-air at your highly public job and run your mouth. ESPN agrees, but unfortunately their statement about Broussards homophobic comments was pret-ty weak:

Other celebs are a little more in your face about it.

They are very passionate about their religion… bordering on fanatical at times!

Jeez! Things just keep getting weirder and weirder in the Manti Te'o scandal!

First, his interview with Katie Couric really only raised more questions.

Then, Dr. Phil interviewed the mastermind behind the whole hoax, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo. He found that he was a very confused young man who had fallen deeply in love with Manti.

Now we've seen more of the interview and we barely even scratched the surface of how confused Ronaiah was!

Oh… so Angus T. Jones wasn't walking around the set of Two and a Half Men preaching the end times, imploring those who work on the show to quit and get right with Christ?!

WEIRD!

We know Mr. Jones is feeling a leetle bit sheepish after bashing the show that reportedly pays him MAJOR Benjamins ($350k!) per episode, as evidenced by his sincere sounding apology…

What the what what whaaat!

Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones recently appeared in a video for Christian website Forerunner Chronicles…

And after talking at length on how much he loves God, the almost fully grown man begins denouncing the CBS show that he's on, imploring those who watch the show to STOP viewing at once!

Cue to 7:30 to watch the bizarre commentary (above)!

Angus goes on to say he doesn't want to even be on the show, calls it "filth" and refers to it in regards to the "the enemy" — we can only assume he's talking about Satan.

Oooo man!

Careful not to sh*t where you eat, Angus T.! Oh, and Angus makes a reported $350,000 per episode… we wonder if he's gonna start giving that away to those less fortunate in the name of the Lord, or perhaps it's God's will that he keep it?

A very convenient philosophy indeed!
