We are still so shocked that we've lost such a comedy legend.
Joan Rivers passed away today, and the outpouring of love for the late comedienne has been immense.
David Letterman, also a protegé of late night legend Johnny Carson, made a statement on the death of our favorite funny lady, who had been excommunicated by Carson after getting her own competing late night show despite having previously been his permanent guest host.
Here's what the Late Show host had to say about Joan's passing:
“Here’s a woman, a real pioneer for other women looking for careers in stand-up comedy. And talk about guts – she would come out here and sit in this chair and say some things that were unbelievable, just where you would have to swallow pretty hard… but it was hilarious… the force of her comedy was overpowering.”
She really was a one-of-a-kind comedic force of nature.
Rest in peace, Joan.

What a sad day.
The world has lost one of its comedy legends as Joan Rivers has died at the age of 81.
The Fashion Police host passed away today, and the people over at E! are feeling the effect of her loss especially.
Here's a statement from E! and NBCUniversal on her untimely passing:
“E! and NBCUniversal send our deepest condolences to Melissa, Cooper and her entire extended family on this incredibly sad day. For decades Joan has made people laugh, shattered glass ceilings and revolutionized comedy. She was unapologetic and fiercely dedicated to entertaining all of us and has left an indelible mark on the people that worked with her and on her legions of fans. She’s been a much beloved member of the E! family for over 20 years and the world is less funny without her in it. Today our hearts are heavy knowing Joan will not be bounding through the doors.”
In addition to this statement, E! just put together a very fitting tribute to the late, great comedic force of nature that could always make us laugh, and it makes us miss her even more.
Ch-ch-check out the stirring commemoration (above)!!!

Is Miley Cyrus taking a trip down memory lane??
It's literally the end of the year, so it only seems fitting to reflect on all the things that happened in 2013 and it looks like Miles is remembering all the good times she had with a special someone!
Could she be talking about her ex-fiancé, Liam Hemsworth?
The couple were still together until that fateful day in September when they announced their split! But today, Mileybird took to her Twitter to post a few thoughts about 2013… a few vague thoughts.
