The world has truly lost one of its greatest leaders as reports have come out that Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 95.

The man who famously and bravely led South Africa out of apartheid after spending 27 years in prison has gone to his final rest, and many celebrities took to Twitter to remember, honor, and mourn the loss of so well loved a man.

Here's what Hollywood's finest had to say about the late politician:

Chimps Beat Humans In Memory Tests?!

Chimps have better memory than humans, study finds!

Kyoto University's Primate Research Institute in Inuyama, Japan is really great at making the average human look like a fool!

No, they're not really into putting banana peels at the tops of stairwells… (that just sounds super dangerous), they're into chimpanzee research!

They've found that chimps have an incredible capacity for remembering things.

One of the study's findings was reported by New Scientist as:

Edie Falco And Jane Lynch Will Remember James Gandolfini And Cory Monteith At The Emmys

inmemoriam

It has been an unusually sad year considering all the great men and women in the industry that we've lost.

We already reported on how Cory Monteith would receive a special tribute in the In Memoriam section of this year's Emmys, but now that we've heard that Jane Lynch will be offering her words of remembrance, we know it's going to an especially emotional night.

Likewise, who better to send off the late, great James Gandolfini on Sunday night than his onscreen wife and co-star from The Sopranos, Edie Falco?

Also honored on this weekend's telecast will be All in the Family's Jean Stapleton, Family Ties' producer Gary David Goldberg, and Mork and Mindy's Jonathan Winters.

Sunday is just going to be just too much to handle. We miss all of these fine people so, so much.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller Costar Remembers The King Of Pop: Watch Her Tribute Music Video HERE!

michael jackson remember

Michael Jackson’s Thriller is one of the most popular videos of all time, but just in case you don’t remember it, Ola Ray, who played MJ’s terrified mortal girlfriend, has released a tribute single and vid of her own called Remember.

While the video has elements that at times feel more like a 50 Shades of Grey audition tape than a Michael Jackson homage, and the single, Ola's first, is, um, inneresting, it’s really the thought that counts. Mostly.

We appreciate Ola’s reminding us to Remember, but when it comes to MJ we will NEVER forget!

Ch-ch-check it out AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Whitney Houston's Mom 'Devastated' By Autopsy Report

cissy-houston-sad-about-whitney-houston-cause-of-death.jpg

The recent autopsy report confirming that Whitney Houston had cocaine in her system was a blow to her mother, Cissy Houston.

According to close friends, she couldn't stop crying when she heard the Coroner's report that stated that cocaine, a drug spoon, and other types of drug evidence were found in the hotel room the night Whitney died. Sources say that Whitney's mom was "devastated" and has since been "inconsolable."

As her mother, she of course wants the world to remember her daughter as the talented megastar singer and not for her drug use and even referred to Whitney's incredible rendition of the National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl, adding:

"This is the type of thing people should remember Whitney for. No one's perfect. Only the Lord can judge."

No matter what, Whitney's momma will always have her back. Guess we can't blame her.
