It's so crazy how someone can keep a secret like this for five long years!
Marc Summers, you may know him as the former host of Nickelodeon's Double Dare or Food Network's Unwrapped, recently announced he was diagnosed with cancer five years ago and is currently in remission.
The 63-year-old host opened up about his battle on Monday morning in Philadelphia during a radio interview with WWMR's Preston and Steve and talked about why it took him so long to publicly announce this news.
He said in their chat:

At 22, you feel invincible.
You feel extra invincible when you're in the shape of your life, and on track to one of your many goals. Gabrielle Neilan was on track to compete in the Miss Oregon USA pageant.
Then she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and ended up under the knife two weeks before taking that stage. And guess what? It didn't stop her!

Yay! We're happy to see Michael Douglas is doing better than ever since his cancer went into remission last winter.
While attending the a Michael Kors fashion show during NYC's Fashion Week, he told reporters he was "feeling great!"
He must be if he's being so active. On top of attending the Contagion New York premiere, he was also spotted a few days later with his wife, Catherine Zeta Jones, at the U.S. Open!
"That was unbelievable," he commented on the men's semi-final match-up between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic he witnessed.
Good health is good news! We hope it continues for Michael, who has already been through so much.
