Celine Dion & Kathie Lee Gifford Tear Up While Reflecting On Losing Their Husbands

On Friday, Celine Dion and Kathie Lee Gifford comforted each other following the recent deaths of their husbands. The talk show host's longtime love, Frank Gifford, passed away last year of natural causes at the age of 84.

And the iconic singer's husband, René Angélil, lost his battle with cancer in January at 73 years old.

On the most recent installment of the TODAY show, the grieving widows applauded each other's strength after the painful passings.

The 62-year-old commended the Canadian crooner for being so brave during such a tough time, saying:

"You gave strength to everybody. Because you're strong, we can all be strong. Everybody is waiting to see how you're doing, you know? To give them permission to be okay."

Miz Dion responded:

"I have to tell you I feel very strong. I lost the man of my life, but I cannot live thinking this way. I have to say I found the best man in the world like you did for yourself and we were both extremely lucky."

This caused Kathie Lee to tear up as she emotionally added:

"We're all going up someday."

The musician also opened up to the TV personality about how René's death has affected their children. Watch as she shares her sad story in the video (below):

The music icon is getting ready to release her new album Encore un soir — French for "another night" — next month, which will mark her first album since 2013's Loved Me Back to Life!

But this new album, which is the songstress's 26th studio album and 14th French-language album, will also be her first since the death of her husband and former manager René Angélil, who tragically passed in January.

Celine Dion pretty much won the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday thanks to her showstopping performance of Queen's The Show Must Go On.

However, it was the moment after the song finished that has people talking, because the 48-year-old broke down on stage after being presented with the Icon Award by her 15-year-old son René-Charles.

Celine Dion Is Managing Late Husband Rene Angelil's Estate

She's not just a singer, she's also a family woman during a tough time.

Celine Dion has been tasked with overseeing late husband Rene Angelil's vast estate, along with two other people — and she is in charge of managing quite a few assets from real estate to cash.

The Canadian singer now controls two estates — a $45 million Florida home, and a $25 million Quebec castle — both of which are currently up for sale.

Once those are sold, according to reports, $9 million of the money will go into a trust that is apparently for the couple's three children.

The family held other properties, too, but Celine will retain ownership of those rather than sell them for the estate.

Celine Dion's first concert back is tonight and we've got some exciting news!

As you know, the 47-year-old singer is going to resume her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace tonight which will be her first real performance since the passing of her husband René Angélil.

The show will also include a 10 minute tribute to René as the songstress continues her shows until mid March when she has a hiatus.

We are truly in awe of Celine Dion!

As we reported, there were rumors that the singer was going to resume her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace on February 23.

Well, those murmurs are in fact true!

Not only is the My Heart Will Go On artist performing live for the first time since her husband René Angélil died, she is altering her show to include a 10-minute-long tribute to the love of her life.

Dion will perform 12 shows until her hiatus in mid-March.

She is working with her new manager — Aldo Giampaolo – who has been an adviser of hers for 25 years.

We can't wait to hear Celine sing!
