Alabama Legislators Have Passed A Bill That Will Force Students To Pray Every Morning!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TruePolitikSad SadCute Kidz

alabama public schools prayer

Religious or not, it's SO weird how backwards legislature can be!

We mean — it totally says there needs to be a separation of church and state flat-out in our government, so when we hear that Alabama legislature has passed a bill that requires students to pray every morning… well, you can understand our confusion!

Isn't it 2014??

Apparently the key committee in Alabama's House of Representatives pushed the bill through last week, which says

GROSS!! Arizona Passes A DISGUSTING Bill That Gives People A "Right To Discriminate" And Is Now One Step Away From Being A Law!

arizona discrimination bill is close to passing

This is such a fail, Arizona.

We can't even believe something like would even be proposed, let alone PASSED in 2014.

Arizona has passed a bill basically giving people the "right to discriminate" against others based on their religious beliefs.

Ughhhhhhh, don't we have separation of church and state for a reason?!

Basically, the bill allows people, companies, and religious bodies the right to use their religious beliefs as a legitimate defense in a lawsuit for discrimination.

Aka if someone refused to hire an employee based on the fact that they were, say, gay or even a single mother, the company could defend themselves by saying it was against their religious beliefs to hire said person.

Gross, gross, groooooosssssss.

Republican representative Steve Montenegro defended the law by saying:

Drake's Irrational Diss To Philip Seymour Hoffman Evokes A Response From Rolling Stone Magazine!

drake rolling stone philip seymour hoffman response sad

And the truth comes out! It eventually always does!

Earlier we reported that Drake was complaining about being upstaged by Philip Seymour Hoffman's sudden passing.

Well, stop your complaining, Drake! A rep for Rolling Stone abruptly put an end to the Worst Behavior rapper's objections!

According to the rep, the mag gave the Canadian rapper fair warning before the cover change, saying they told Drake's people last Friday about the change.

The representative also included that these unanticipated turn arounds happen all the time when prominent public figures pass away.

Which is totally understandable!

Drake must be having a not so good week, first dissing Macklemore on his Grammy apology to Kendrick Lamar and now this?

Think before you speak, dude!

It may not be smart to bring a pair of Google Glass into a movie theater, but this poor guy did not deserve the treatment being given to him!

A Google Glass Explorer was ejected from his local AMC theater in Easton Mall in Columbus, Ohio after a federal agent snatched the glasses from his face and removed him from the theater!

This is so rude, a simple, 'Sir, please step outside' would suffice! Poor guy!

The man was then roughly badgered and questioned for three hours by the authorities under the suspicion that he was recording the film with his digital eyewear!

Apparently, the innocent movie goer said he has worn Google Glass to the same theaters before but has never been reprimanded by authorities for it!

The Google Glass user, who wanted to remain anonymous, said:

Looks like the engagement rumors officially ring true!

"I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged."

Zut Alors! We can confirm that we just lost our shizz! She officially said "oui!"

Finally, she's got a ring on her finger that doesn't belong to the Green Lantern!

The big question on everyone's mind is when? The rep went on to comment about the potential wedding date:

Texas Passes House Bill 2 To Place Strict Regulations On Abortions

texas passes bill to put strict regulations on abortions

The state of Texas has just put the final approval on House Bill 2, which will ban abortions at 20 weeks and put some of the strictest regulations on abortion clinics and facilities in the entire country.

The House voted 98-49 to pass the Bill by a huge margin, and it must be approved once more at a later date to move on to the Senate.

Supporters of the Bill argue that it will help protect women and their unborn children while those opposed to it say it will make it nearly impossible for women to get treatment and force them to seek "black market" alternatives.

Mariah Carey MIMED American Idol Medley? Diva's Rep RESPONDS To Lip-Synching Accusations!

We guess that NO ONE can escape the wrath of lip-synching accusations on the internet!

Beyoncé faced it after her rendition of the National Anthem at the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama, and now, Mariah Carey has come under fire for her performance medley of her biggest hits on American Idol's 12th season finale last night!

And it was NOT pretty!

After Twitter essentially EXPLODED with criticism over what some viewers perceived to be bad lip-synching, as her voice did not always appear to match the audio during the live feed, the diva's representative quickly issued a statement that DENIES any wrongdoing on her client's part!

In fact, while Mimi DID sing along to a pre-recorded track, as many artists regularly do, her rep is adamant that she "performed with a 40-person choir" and "SANG LIVE."
