South Carolina Lawmakers Officially Ban The Confederate Flag At The Capitol!

This flag won't be flying for too much longer!

Earlier this week, it was reported that South Carolina's state senate voted to remove the Confederate flag from the state Capitol grounds.

On Thursday, the House approved the historic Senate bill in a 93-27 vote! The bill will now head to Republican Governor Nikki Haley to sign into law.

We don't know the exact timing of the flag removal, but it could come down as early as Friday!

The proposal to remove the flag was a result of last month's racially-charged shootings at Charleston's Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, where nine black people were killed.

While supporters of the flag associate it with Southern pride, opposers say it is a symbol of support for slavery and racism.

We think it's great that South Carolina is willing to make a change in the right direction. Hopefully other states in the south follow suit and make a stand for unity!

Say What? Which Presidential Hopeful Really Made These Questionable Quotes — Donald Trump Or Chris Christie?

What exactly happens when neither of the two evils in question are the lesser party?

Chris Christie announced on Tuesday that he would be running for the Republican nomination for President.

The New Jersey Governor couldn't have picked a more perfect time, because no matter what crazy things he says in the upcoming weeks, he's probably still going to look better than Donald Trump!

As you're surely aware by now, the former Celebrity Apprentice star has already been given the axe from all things NBC following his racist Presidential bid speech.

And while Mr. Trump may not be the best with words, we didn't think it'd be right to just let Chris sneak by without pointing out all of the asinine things he's let slip out of his mouth in the past.

So without further ado…

Outspoken New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Announces Presidential Bid For The Republican Party — While Calling Out His Fellow Candidates!

no title

Step aside, Donald Trump! There's another tough-talking GOP candidate in town now!

On Tuesday, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president!

While the Republican party already has over a dozen candidates running, the New Jersey native has promised to be aggressive in his upcoming campaign. He told voters:

"You're going to get what I think whether you like it or not, or whether it makes you cringe every once in a while or not. I am now ready to fight for the people of the United States of America."

Though the 52-year-old's resume is impressive, he has also faced backlash from former aides who created traffic jams at a bridge to get back against a Democratic mayor who chose not to endorse Christie's re-election!

While Christie denied he had anything to do with the bridge closing, this raised the awareness that that those who work with the governor will do anything to win!

During his campaign launch, the presidential hopeful called out the "bickering leaders" from both parties — though highlighted Barack Obama's "weak and feckless foreign policy" and referred to fellow candidate Hillary Clinton the president's "second mate."

In the gymnasium of his old high school, the presidential hopeful declared:

Ted Cruz Apologizes For Making Poorly Timed Joke About Joe Biden Days After His Son's Death

Absolutely terrible!

As we reported last month, Joe Biden's son — Beau Biden — tragically passed away from brain cancer at the young age of 46.

One would think others would respect the Vice President's period of mourning.

Apparently, Ted Cruz did NOT get the memo.

On Wednesday at a GOP dinner in Howell, Michigan, the Republican Candidate made a poorly-timed dig at the Democratic politician.

"Vice President Joe Biden. You know the nice thing? You don't need a punch line… I promise you it works… The next party you're at, just walk up to someone and say, 'Vice President Joe Biden' and just close your mouth. They will crack up laughing."'

Afterwards, the 44-year-old was called out by a reporter for being insensitive, but the Calgary native walked away.

The video was made public on Twitter:

Well it looks like even longtime friends are not standing by the Duggars!

Although the 19 Kids and Counting family supported Rick Santorum in the 2012 presidential race, that support is not being reciprocated.
