Quote Of The Day

quote-of-the-day-barack-obama-clint-eastwood

"He is a great actor, and an even better director. I think the last few movies that he's made have been terrific. One thing about being president or running for president, if you're easily offended, you should probably choose another profession."

There Really IS A Ronald Reagan Hologram In The Works!

Wow! The rumor actually wasn't that far off!

FOX News, which is frequently criticized for not sticking to their slogan, suggested that a hologram of Ronald Reagan would endorse Mitt Romney on Thursday night before the Republican presidential candidate accepted the party's nomination.

Everyone seemed to know that Clint Eastwood would be taking the podium (although not everyone knew he would be talking to an empty chair), but a Fox anchor went ahead and speculated that the deceased president would be following in Tupac's footsteps.

Well, now someone has confirmed that a holographic projection of the 40th commander-in-chief was actually scheduled to be debuted at the Republican National Convention.

Thankfully, the conservative party was NOT going to allow a brain that no longer functions to endorse a political candidate and was instead going to use an old speech he gave to promote the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act.

Tony Reynolds, an Ohio man working on the project, told sources:

Clint Eastwood's Speech Was NOT A Part Of His Reality Show

Filed under: TV NewsMedia MinutePolitikBarack Obama

Hey, stranger things…

Apparently, people think Clint Eastwood's speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night (above) was SO weird, awkward and cray cray that they're assuming it HAD to be part of his reality show, Mrs. Eastwood & Company.

However, sources are assuring the world that the Hollywood icon was not encouraged by any producer of the show to talk down to an invisible Barack Obama in an effort to pump up the crowd.

This thought never really crossed our mind, but maybe a lot of Dirty Harry fans were giving the actor the benefit of the doubt.

No matter what

Condoleezza Rice's Support Of Abortions & Gay Marriage Cost Her The Republican VP Nomination

condoleezza rice republican vice president gay marriage pro choice mitt romney paul ryan roc

We are extremely disappointed by former Governor Mitt Romney regarding his selection for Vice President, as new evidence suggests Condoleezza Rice's tolerance cost her a spot on the ticket.

According to her friends, she was a definite finalist and her penchant for equality worked against her.

President Obama Responds To Clint Eastwood's Empty Chair Gag

president obama twitter response this seats taken clint eastwood rnc

"This seat's taken."

It was a clear and concise response to the most incomprehensibly awkward attack in Convention history!!

Clint Eastwood is Hollywood's most openly conservative movie stars, so an appearance at the RNC designed to take President Obama out for a seafood dinner down a few notches was far from surprising.

The 82 year-old actor's speech conversation with an empty stool, however, was downright inexplicable!!

We're not sure his makeshift comedy routine won over many undecided voters but The Left took no chances.

The President's immediate Twitter rebuttal (picture and quote above) very effectively took the wind fromf Dirty Harry's sails.

Bam! Take that, yo.
