Samuel L. Jackson Is Pissed Hurricane Isaac Hit New Orleans Instead Of The Republican National Convention
Samuel L. Jackson is tired of all these motherf*ckin' hurricanes not hitting this motherf*ckin' Republican National Convention!
LOLz! Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves.
The actor, who has a famous flare for cursing, caused some controversy on Twitter this past Monday when he tweeted:
Unfair Shit: GOP spared by Issac ! NOLA prolly Fucked Again! Not understanding God's plan!
— Samuel L. Jackson (@SamuelLJackson) August 27, 2012
Not exactly the nicest thing to say because it almost sounds like the Avengers star wanted harm to come to those members of the GOP gathered at the RNC.
To Jackson's credit, however, it didn't take long for him to apologize for the "bullsh*t tweet" by saying:
This is awful!
Two people attending the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday threw nuts at an African American camerawoman working for CNN and yelled:
“This is how we feed animals.”
It's mind boggling that this blatant discrimination would happen in public in this day and age, but at least security was quick to toss them out. Officials from the convention were NOT happy with the incident and said in a statement:
The big election is only months away, but Mitt Romney is STILL undecided on the vice presidential candidate he will pick to be his running mate!
In an interview with Good Morning America that will air on Thursday, Anne Romney said:
"We are certainly talking a lot. This last week, this last weekend, there was a lot of discussion. There was a lot of talk. We're not quite there yet. And we're going to be there soon."
What's the hold up?
The Republican National Convention will he held on August 27 and running mates are usually announced before then. With Mitt leaving the country to tour Europe next week, people think he'll make the big announcement beforehand.
Mrs. Romney wants her hubby to pick someone who shares her values, which could be Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty or Ohio Sen. Rob Portman
or anybody else willing to pander to the Republican base.
Anybody out there have any advice for Mitt as he makes the biggest decision of his presidential campaign?
