The Big Bang Theory And The Secret Circle Dominate The Thursday Night Ratings While Other Networks Air Re-Runs!
Thursday night was a success in the ratings for The Big Bang Theory!
With the World Series on, most NBC comedies and X Factor took the night off, so the successful CBS comedy managed to garner an eight percent week-to-week and delivered the series' second-most watched Thursday episode ever with 14.7 million tuning in, while also matching its all time Thursday high in the 18-49 demographic, with a 4.9 rating!
CW's Secret Circle also went up around 13 percent week-to-week, with a 2.11 million viewership!
Wow! Guess the World Series wasn't as successfully as some networks anticipated!
Well done, guys!
Oh, HELL to the YES! Best news ever!
Get ready to once again get 'truly truly outrageous' very soon, because our FAVORITE '80s cartoon, Jem, is heading back to television!
Starting May 28th, the series - which focused on a music company owner named Jerrica, who uses a giant computer named Synergy to transform herself and her friends into a glam-rock band called Jem and the Holograms - will begin airing re-runs on The Hub in marathon form starting at 2pm!
It will then air regularly at 7pm starting May 31st!
Yay! We cannot wait to re-visit this one!
We wonder if it still holds out as adults! Probably not!
Now, after two weeks of reruns, ratings for Oprah have dropped 35% from a 5.7 average to a 3.7. Ouch.
As far as week to week ratings are concerned, her numbers dropped 21%, which brought Judge Judy ahead of her for the "daytime crown" at a 4.5 rating.
Don't worry, Oprah! You can def pull ahead again. All is not lost for your final season!
Do U think Oprah's ratings will go back up before the end of her season/series?

E! will begin to air reruns of Sex and the City starting January 2011.
The show will premiere on January 3rd and continue to weeknights at 8:00pm and 8:30pm ET/PT. The encore will begin January 4th in a morning block from 8am-10am and afternoons at 3pm.
And they're edited for cable! Ugh. We're not sure about that!
Will U be watching?
It may be the hottest show on cable, but HBO is trying to capitalize on the success of True Blood by selling reruns to commercial cable networks.
Considering 12 million viewers tune in to watch every week, it shouldn't be too much of a problem - except maybe for the gruesome and sexy content!
HBO is hoping to sell each episode for $800,000. And that is a hell of a lot of money to have them cut out all the juicy parts!
Would U watch True Blood on basic cable?!
