After six years of acting as creative director, Clare Waight Keller has resigned from her post at Pringle of Scotland.
Clare issued a statement, explaining:
"It's a sad moment — but the perfect time to close my era at Pringle. I leave incredibly proud of Pringle's growth from a Scottish knitwear company to an international luxury brand. And to a certain extent, this move is for personal reasons."
The British designer wouldn't elaborate, but she is expecting a her third child in May.

After news broke on Friday that French Vogue's Carine Roitfeld would be resigning, the fashion world started speculating on what she'd do next.
Many believed she and Tom Ford would be collaborating again, just like they did in the 90s when the designer was at Gucci and then Yves Saint Laurent.
Unfortunately, that's not happening.
Tom squashed those rumors almost immediately, telling the New York Times:
"Carine and I have no plans to work together at the moment, and it is nothing that we have even discussed, but of course I think she is brilliant and we are close friends so who knows about the future."
And there you have it.
At least there's still a possibility. Maybe on his next womenswear collection?

We are shocked!
After 10 years as editor-in-chief, Carine Roitfeld announced she is leaving her post at Vogue Paris to focus on "personal projects".
The French Anna Wintour told the New York Times:
"It’s 10 years that I’m editor of the magazine, I think it’s time to do something different. When everything is good, maybe I think it’s the time to do something else."
Carine's successor will be announced in a few weeks, which is around the time she'll say au revoir.
