Thanks for spreading the word, Biebs!
Today, Justin Bieber announced the launch of a new campaign which will promote responsible text messaging through a new app, which disables texting, emailing, and keyboard functions if you're driving faster than 10 miles per hour! WONDERFUL!
In his campaign, Justin will be working alongside the Remember Alex Brown Foundation, which was organized by the family of teen Alex Brown who died tragically because she was texting while driving.
Here's what Justin had to say about his campaign:
"As a 17-year-old driver, I am aware of the countless distractions that we teenagers face on the road, and texting is one that is preventable. There are too many young people, like Alex Brown, whom we've lost because of texting while driving, and it is my hope that, through this partnership with PhoneGuard, we will raise awareness of this issue and create safer conditions for everyone on the road."
We cannot emphasize enough how important an issue this is! We fully support Justin's campaign, and we hope it encourages people of all ages to text responsibly.
DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE!
