The United States Justice Department Sues Apple For Fixing eBook Prices!

The U.S. Justice Department thinks Apple went a step too far by conspiring with publishers to create fixed eBook prices and has filed an antitrust lawsuit against the company to teach it a lesson in fairness.

Even though some publishers have already settled, the company behind the iPad is disputing the charges by arguing that pricing agreements with publishers only enhanced competition in a market dominated by Amazon.

Shopping In Paris Means Dealing With Irritated Salespeople

Paris might be known as the fashion capital of the world, but prepare yourself for rude sales reps if you decide to shop there.

The famed Avenue des Champs-Elysées, which features some of the biggest names in fashion, was ranked as number 22 in terms of customer service.

Reports showed that 40% of the time the sales staff seemed irritated to have to deal with customers.

India's Shop Owners Go On Strike!

Small business owners in India are mad as hell about the government's new foreign retail policy, so they're going on strike.

Last week the Indian Cabinet decided to increase the single brand ownership cap from 51% to 100%, which would let big name retailers like Walmart, Ikea, Tesco and Carrefour to come into the country.

Since 90% of India's retail market are mom-and-pop shops, the decision could ultimately wipe out thousands of jobs, but the government doesn't see it that way.

Billboard Charts Will No Longer Count Albums That Sell For Less Than $3.49

Guess we probably won't be seeing any more epic 99 cent sales any time soon…

Billboard has announced that beginning the week of Nov. 21, albums selling for less than $3.49 within the first four weeks of release will NOT count on charts.

Also, individual tracks that sell for less than $0.39 won't count on charts either!
