Hugh Jackman Hanging Up Iconic Claws?! Actor Hints That Wolverine 3 May Be His Last Portrayal Of The X-Men Character!!

no title

Some could argue that Wolverine is the greatest comic book superhero ever.

But NO ONE could argue against the fact that watching Hugh Jackman play Wolverine is one of the greatest joys in life!

But the actor has dropped a major hint on Saturday that suggests he may hang up the claws after Wolverine 3, which is coming out to theaters in March 2017, is completed.

Here's what he wrote on Instagram:

"WOLVERINE …ONE LAST TIME. HJ"

One last time? Oh no! Does that mean what it seems to imply?!

Hugh has been playing the character since the first X-Men movie in 2000 so we can understand why Hugh may want to stop portraying the comic book character, but Hugh has expressed in the past how much he loves being Wolverine so we kind of thought he'd be doing this forever.

But we guess all good things must come to an end. We just hope that end is one spectacular send-off that's fitting of how amazing Hugh Jackman has been as Wolverine all of these years!!
