Girls Aloud have kicked off their Ten Tour at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle Thursday night, and not only did our beloved singing sensations bring it HARD, but they had a couple of surprises in store for all of the fans who have anxiously been awaiting their return to the stage as a group for what seems like a lifetime!
While she, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh DOMINATED all of our favorite hits that cemented their status as more than just the winners of Popstars: The Rivals, the ladies decided to have some fun with their set-list and through in one hell of an unexpected, yet welcome cover!
The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.
Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:
"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."
That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:
"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."
"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...
