Last week, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Teairra Mari revealed to her fans she had been the victim of revenge porn.

In a press conference, flanked by lawyers Lisa Bloom and Walter Moseley, Teairra explained the case in detail — and who's to blame!

The R&B singer found out her boyfriend, rapper Akbar Abdul-Ahad, was cheating and broke up with him:

"Right after that he posted a sex tape and obscene photos… He had my Instagram password, so he posted them on my Instagram to make me look terrible… I was compromised by someone who I felt loved me as much as I loved him."

She says after she took them down and changed her password, Akbar's friend 50 Cent posted the photos on his Instagram.

Now she's opening a police report and filing suit against Akbar and 50 under California's revenge porn laws. See her entire emotional statement (below):

The only bright side here is that revenge porn is illegal in California, and there's an opportunity for the 30-year-old to fight back.

Facebook Announces Pilot Program To Block Revenge Porn — But You'll Have To Send Your Nudes

Revenge porn needs to stop!

Facebook is trying an interesting new tactic to put an end to revenge porn on their social media platform.

The company announced in a recent press release that they're launching a pilot program for users to submit their nude or intimate images so Facebook can make sure it never gets uploaded.

As of now, the program is only going to be available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Apparently how it works is they'll be using image matching technology so no one else can upload the same image onto the site or app. A staff member will have to view the uncensored image to first rule it as revenge porn.

California's 'Revenge Porn' Law In Action! First Criminal Convicted Under New Law!

Finally, people can now feel a little more safe in regards to any vengeful exes.

Noe Iniguez, 36, has become the first person to be convicted under California's new "revenge porn" law.
