Russia, Ass-Kissing, & Torture! Why Trump's Next Picks For Secretary Of State & CIA Director Should Scare You!

You never think Donald Trump's team can get worse, and then you find yourself wishing you had the CEO of ExxonMobil back as Secretary of State…

That's because the new pick, Mike Pompeo, isn't just totally loyal to Trump in an alarmingly dictatorial way, that also seems to extend to loyalty to Russia. As CIA director, Pompeo has already put Trumpian spin on info from his agency, saying publicly they had determined Russian meddling hadn't affected the election.

The CIA had to issue a statement afterward saying the statement by their director was NOT TRUE; they had not done such an assessment.

It seems this kind of blind eye toward Russia is what Trump was looking for all along.

After all, it seems clear at this point now-fired-by-tweet Rex Tillerson, who survived for months after calling his boss "a fucking moron" was fired 24 hours after agreeing it appeared the Russian government was behind a nerve gas attack in

Stop trying to make war with North Korea happen, Donald Trump.

The impetuous POTUS has been instigating a conflict with the country ever since he got into office. Now, he's locked in some sort of nuclear pissing contest with ruler Kim Jong Un — and millions of lives could be fatally pissed on.

A week after Trump encouraged the U.N. to increase economic sanctions against North Korea, Trump used some Game of Thrones-style rhetoric to threaten the country with "fire and fury like the world has never seen."

This prompted Pyongyang to hit back with detailed plans on a missile strike against the U.S. territory Guam, accusing America of being "the mastermind of nuclear threat, the heinous nuclear war fanatic" in a media report.

Well, Trump didn't prove otherwise on Friday, as he hurled another threat saying the U.S. military was "locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely." He tweeted:

Visiting an old friend.

Dennis Rodman has become an unlikely diplomat between the U.S. and North Korea in recent years, thanks to his confusing bromance with supreme leader Kim Jong-Un.

While the former NBA star's travels to the authoritarian state have triggered much criticism in the past, his most recent trip is actually getting some positive attention on Twitter.

Donald Trump's Administration Makes Him Sign A New Executive Order To Replace His Chaotic Travel Ban — But How Is It REALLY Different??

no title

Donald Trump's administration has signed a revised executive order to replace his travel ban.

Effective next week, the new executive order officially revokes and replaces the controversial order the President signed in late January, which was blocked by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals last month — but how is this new one any different?

Well, first off one of the seven majority-Muslim countries previously banned from entering the States is now off the hook.

The downsized order narrows the list of countries barred from entering the U.S. from seven to six — Iraq has been removed from the list at the urging of the State Department and the Pentagon.

A senior U.S. Official said Iraq was removed from the list "because we have received firm commitments from the government of Iraq about increased cooperation in terms of info sharing and other related activities."

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson also echoed the importance of keeping a strong alliance with Iraq, telling press on Monday:

Rex Tillerson

UPDATE 1:40 P.M. EST: Two senior administration officials said the four top State Department management officials were actually asked to leave by the Trump administration in an effort to "clean house," CNN reports.

According to the officials' account, the staff sent in resignation notices after they were reportedly sent letters by the White House saying that their public service was no longer needed. One senior State Department official said:

"Any implication that that these four people quit is wrong. These people are loyal to the secretary, the President and to the State Department. There is just not any attempt here to dis the President. People are not quitting and running away in disgust. This is the White House cleaning house."

The State Department's acting spokesman, Mark Toner, said in a statement:

"These positions are political appointments, and require the President to nominate and the Senate to confirm them in these roles. They are not career appointments but of limited term. Of the officers whose resignations were accepted, some will continue in the Foreign Service in other positions, and others will retire by choice or because they have exceeded the time limits of their grade in service."

Donald Trump is the reason we can't have nice things.

Drumpf's newly-appointed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was getting all settled into his new digs on Wednesday… when the State Department's ENTIRE senior-level management team RESIGNED!!

This is unprecedented!!

According to the Washington Post, David Wade, former chief of staff for John Kerry called the housecleaning:

"It's the single biggest simultaneous departure of institutional memory that anyone can remember, and that's incredibly difficult to replicate. Department expertise in security, management, administrative and consular positions in particular are very difficult to replicate and particularly difficult to find in the private sector."

So who bailed?

A number of people who have served under both Republican and Democratic administrations, including Patrick Kennedy who was in the running to become Tillerson's right-hand man.
