After a long flight from the U.S. to France Richard Gere and his 12-year-old son Homer were seen picking up their luggage at baggage claim at the Roissy Airport in Paris.
Richard flew into town to film a commercial for the soft drink Orangina and decided to make it a family affair by inviting son and wife Carey Lowell to tag along.
They seem to be in good spirits despite the grueling flight. Hope they have fun in the City of Light!

Looks like Christian Bale isn't the only celeb having issues with China!
During a recent interview, Dalai Lama devotee/actor Richard Gere was asked about recent cases of monks in Tibet setting themselves on fire in protest against China.
Here's what he had to say about it:

Richard Gere rang in the New Year in India! (Oh how we miss it!!)
Though, everyone knows that Richard is a Buddhist — so this shouldn't be much of a shock!
He was there with the Dalai Lama for a Buddhism festival at the site where Buddha is believed to have achieved enlightenment!
Sounds like a spiritually intense way to welcome 2012, that's for sure!
We can't wait to go back!

Good to see he's making some money, even though we haven't seen him in too many movies lately!
Yesterday, Richard Gere sold 110 lots from his personal collection of guitars and amps for a grand total of nearly $1 million!
Here's what the actor/former guitar collector had to say about it:

Two movies AND True Blood?! Where will he find the time to finally marry Sookie Stackhouse????
Stephen Moyer of True Blood fame has just signed on for two new films. The first will be an action-suspense flick alongside Richard Gere and Topher Grace. Stephen will play a Russian spy who killed a senator in Washington.
ZZzzz! Next!
The second flick, slated to start shooting next month, is a big-screen adaptation of the 1960s series, Valley. Jessica Lange will be stepping into the Barbara Stanwyck role of the matriarch of the Barkleys, a family of ranchers in 19th century California. Stephen will be playing Jarrod Barkley, the family's attorney.
A remake of another old TV show???
Double Zzzzzz!
Stick to being a vampire, Bill!
