Meningitis Outbreak Slowing Down!

Finally! Some good news!

The pace of the meningitis outbreak has been slowing down.

Though don't celebrate just yet.

The numbers have still risen since we last reported them.

There are now 438 cases in 19 states. The death toll is 32.

Around 14,000 people are possibly at risk after having gotten the contaminated steroid shots.

They could potentially get the disease as well.

So though the numbers are lowering, we're not out of the woods just yet.

Check out the video (above) to learn a little more about some of the new developments in this awful outbreak.

More and more evidence is pointing to "low and slow" as the best way to cook and prepare your food!

It's true, a new study has shown that high heat cooking could be putting you at risk for cardiovascular disease. That sucks, because high heat is how you get that crispy crunch on things!

In the study, over the course of 10 days, 65 adults recorded what they ate so it could be calculated how many chemical leftovers (AGEs) from high temperature cooking each group consumed. Greater AGE intake lead to increased risk of heart disease.

So why does this happen?
