Everyone LOVES their big screen TVs, but what many don't know is that the humongous televisions can put their children in dangerous situations.
According to reports, tumbling TVs have killed over 200 kiddies since 2000, but people still haven't figured out the hazard behind those big screens.
In the video (above), CNN details how unsafe TVs can really be, and teach the basics on how YOU can prevent your child from getting into an unwanted injury.
A new scientific study just linked some very random findings!
Apparently, people who have ever had a head injury and who were also exposed to the herbicide paraquat had almost a three times increased risk of developing Parkinson's disease.
UCLA's Fielding School of Public Health took a survey of over 1,000 adults.
Of those people, about 357 had Parkinson's disease.
Those with the disease were twice as likely to have reported a serious head injury that lead to unconsciousness for more than five minutes.
More and more evidence is pointing to "low and slow" as the best way to cook and prepare your food!
It's true, a new study has shown that high heat cooking could be putting you at risk for cardiovascular disease. That sucks, because high heat is how you get that crispy crunch on things!
In the study, over the course of 10 days, 65 adults recorded what they ate so it could be calculated how many chemical leftovers (AGEs) from high temperature cooking each group consumed. Greater AGE intake lead to increased risk of heart disease.
