Health magazine, along with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), did a survey of readers and OB-GYNs.
They wanted to find out exactly how much people knew about breast cancer, and the results are shocking.
Many women have some serious misconceptions about the disease!
So thankfully, the magazine set out to clear all that up.

We all know that regularly getting under six hours of sleep a night isn't healthy.
Well puffy eyes and a crappy mood should only be the least of your worries.
Various studies have found that long term sleep deprivation can increase the risk of serious health problems, like obesity and type II diabetes.
A new study found that sleep deprivation impairs fat cells' ability to respond to insulin, a hormone that regulates metabolism and is a big piece in the diabetes puzzle.

Well, Omega-3 supplements, that is!
It's true, a new study is showing that those fish oil pills you've been taking haven't been doing anything at all — it shows that the supplements don’t lower users’ risks of heart attack, stroke, sudden death or death from heart disease or any cause.
Part of the study had scientists reviewing 20 studies dating back to 1989 that involved 68,680 participants. So it wasn't small by any means.
So what's up with the conclusion now vs. what it was in the past?
