Actor Robert Culp passed away on Wednesday after suffering a fall as he went for a walk near his El Lay home. He was rushed to the hospital after being discovered by a jogger and pronounced dead shortly after.
A preliminary investigation found "that his death is accidental and there appears to be no sign of foul play," said LAPD Lt. Bob Binder.
Culp was best known for playing Kelly Robinson in the 1965-68 series I Spy, which also broke the color barrier for a dramatic television series as was the first to star an African American actor, Bill Cosby. He was also active in many causes and especially passionate about those concerning animals.
Robert Culp was 79-years-old.
