ESPN comes under fire again!

ESPN is facing a PR nightmare!

Not long after they came under fire for a controversial fantasy football sketch following the Charlottesville violence, they're facing way more heat for their latest decision.

It's been revealed the sports network decided to pull broadcaster Robert Lee off the September 2 University of Virginia college football game in Charlottesville because of his name's similarity to Robert E. Lee, the Confederate general.

After the news leaked, ESPN released a statement via spokesman Derek Volner:

"We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It's a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play by play for a football game has become an issue."

Skipping the rally this time.

President Greg Fenves of the University of Texas in Austin has ordered the immediate removal of confederate monuments from the main area of campus, citing that such statutes have become "symbols of modern white supremacy and neo-Nazism."

Fenves made the announcement late Sunday night as crews were in place to remove the statues of confederate leaders — including Robert E. Lee — by mid-morning on Monday. A spokesperson said the school also blocked off the area during the process.

Though the controversial statues will no longer be perched near the campus clock tower, they aren't total history.

Despite the uproar surrounding this weekend's deadly Charlottesville rally that grew violent over the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue, the Texas theme park isn't changing any of its six flags — including the one that represents the fight to preserve slavery.

Park officials tell TMZ there is a fundamental distinction between the Confederate States flag and the Confederate Battle flag, which is the image white supremacists and neo-Nazis have adopted.

Reps from the park say patrons "are astute enough to know the difference" — but truly astute people know that

Robert E. Lee's Great-Great Grandson Condemns Charlottesville Violence — And Says It's 'Fine' To Remove Confederate Statues

With all the controversy over Donald Trump's epic mishandling of a national tragedy, right up to defending neo-Nazis on live TV, it's easy to forget how this all started.

Charlottesville had voted to remove their statues of Confederate general Robert E. Lee, as people found them to be glorifying the side of the Civil War that fought to keep slavery.

That's why neo-Nazis, neo-confederates, KKK members, and other white supremacist subgroups banded together and descended on the town in the first place.

Well, an unexpected voice has arisen to condemn the actions of the people protesting the statue's removal — Robert E. Lee V, the great-great grandson of the Southern soldier. He told CNN on Wednesday:
