Jay-Z's Rocawear label is teaming up with Hasbro to launch a Battleship capsule collection.

The line of men’s and women’s tee shirts, polos and denim, fuses Battleship imagery with well known Jay-Z lyrics such as Show Me What You Got, 99 Problems and Bring ‘Em Out just to name a few.

We're LOLing so hard at the "99 problems but my ship ain't one". So punny!

Rocawear is throwing their baseball diamonds in the sky — at Yankee Stadium!

On Wednesday Jay-Z's clothing company announced they will be sponsoring the New York Yankees for the 2012 season.

As part of the sponsorship, Rocawear will have branded signage in Yankee stadium and integrated promotions throughout the season.

Iconix Brand Group's EVP of Marketing, Jameel Spencer, says the partnership was natural:

"Jay-Z has been a long-time fan of the Yankees, regularly attends games and has even included his favorite team in song lyrics, so this was a natural partnership. Rocawear, along with Jay-Z are very excited to be working with the Yankees for the 2012 season. We feel another championship in ‘12!"

First the Yankees release not one but two fragrances and now this?

Kinda bizarre, no?

As we mentioned earlier this year, Rocawear has been hard at work planning their comeback and it starts now!

The label's first commercial EVER starring Jay-Z debuts tonight during the NCAA Championship game, but U can watch it here FIRST.

The full 90 second ad is scheduled to premier tomorrow on BET's 106 & Park.

They may have laid off half their employees last month, but Rocawear has no plans of going under. In fact, they've been busy strategizing a comeback of sorts.

Later this month the brand will release their first-ever TV campaign starring Jay-Z, who recently extended his contract with them for another 3 years.

Rocawear's also signed a slew of new licenses to expand into children's wear, swimwear, home products and watches.

Guess that means we'll be seeing little Blue Ivy rockin' Poppa Jay's clothes in the future.

Bad news for Rocawear staff members.

Jay Z’s company has laid off half of their employees!

The rap mogul actually sold his company back in 2007 to Iconix Brand Group but he stayed on as a shareholder.

He’s also responsible for product development as well as marketing and licensing.

Unfortunately, the company blames the bad global economy for the loss of all those jobs.

They had to let go of 28 of their 56 employees.

Times are tough.

Jay-Z's short-lived "Occupy All Streets" t-shirt made a rare appearance on the X Factor on Wednesday night.

Contestant Chris Rene was the lucky man who donned the controversial tee, which was pulled from the Rocawear website less than a week after it became available. Apparently Occupy Wall Street protesters weren't happy that Jay-Z wasn't going to share the profits with them.

As for how Chris got the shirt, the show's head stylist June Ambrose said the shirt came from the Jigga Man himself.

Way to represent the 99%.

As we mentioned last year, Trey Songz was chosen to rep Rocawear and appear in the brand’s ads.

Now, the hottie is the new face in the company’s video campaign for their latest fragrance, Evolution.

And the video gets straight to its point — if you wear the cologne, you’ll get laid. Hah!
