Someone's going to rock out with their baby blocks out!
A big hearty congratulations to Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer and Evis Xheneti who have announced they are expecting a child!
Here's what Xheneti said:
"We are so utterly elated to announce that we are expecting our first child due late this fall. We have been dying to share this news with everyone.”
This is the couple's first (but hopefully not last) child together.
They expect the baby to rock-and-roll on out in November of 2012.
Go see the soon-to-be-dad perform with Korn this summer!

We are young impressed!
Rock band Fun. has been enjoying all types of success ever since their song We Are Young (above) appeared in Chevy's Super Bowl ad!
Now, the song has reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, knocking Kelly Clarkson's Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) down to #2.
This achievement is PARTICULARLY impressive because

Viacom is regretting purchasing Rock Band creator Harmonix.
Arbitrators ruled that Viacom owes Harmonix shareholders $383 million. Viacom purchased the company so MTV and VH1 could hop on the Guitar Hero bandwagon.
Viacom initially payed $150 million bonuses to shareholders after purchasing Harmonix.
But due to high production costs, Viacom couldn't profit from 10 million Rock Band units being sold, so they wanted take-backsies.
Harmonix originally sued Viacom for $700 million. Viacom has countersued for arbitrators to look over facts left out of the initial hearing.
Who knew video games could be this imporant?

Damn! Gene Simmons has some strong opinions on Axl Rose!
According to him, Axl is the reason Guns N' Roses fell off the map. He said they could have been the greatest, but Axl screwed it all up.

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx is recovering after undergoing knee surgery on Wednesday for an injury he sustained while touring this past summer.
Based on his Twitter, it doesn't sound like he's in too much pain though!
The rocker announced to fan's he is under the car of his model girlfriend Courtney Bingham, tweeting:
"Surgery was a breeze. Now I'm under doctor @Ms_Courtney_B care. Man, I am so gonna milk this situation in my favor.;)"
Sounds like the doctor is making him feel pret-ty good! Good luck with the rest of the recovery, Nikki!

AWOLNATION may have successfully redefined the term "crowd surfing" and upped the ante for rock band stage antics.
Before performing their hit single Sail at the 2011 Austin City Limits Music Festival, frontman Aaron Bruno grabbed a boogie board and hopped into the crowd to ride the good vibe.
Definitely a pretty neat idea and we are surprised haven't seen this stunt yet!
Check out AWOLNATION actually crowd surfing above, then stick around for a great performance of their hit song! !
