We definitely did not see this one coming - and that just made it all the more sadder!

It was the end of the road last night on Dancing With The Stars for Sherri Shepherd and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, as they were sent packing at the end of Rock Week on the reality competition - despite the clear level of skill and energy they displayed in their performance this week!

When we think of ballroom dancing, KISS usually doesn't come to mind, but ABC's Dancing With The Stars welcomed Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley on the stage to rock the house anyway.

The legendary band kicked off the reality competition's "Rock Week" on Monday night with a killer performance of Rock and Roll All Nite. Dancers with the band's signature black and white face paint hit the floor running, while the judges had no choice but to give the performance 11s across the board.

Doing the tango with the beautiful Karina, Gavin wooed the audience with his seductive moves (LOL!) to Rolling Stone's Paint It Black…

…and we LOVED IT!!

Sure, he may have only earned himself a 23, but it definitely wasn't the worst!

Besides, he's just so entertaining to watch… advanced dance skills or not!!

He should wear that eyeliner more often, no?

Way to work a crowd, Donald!!

Channeling his own inner rock god, Donald Driver rocked the house to a Jimi Hendrix classic!

Peta and the NFL star scored the highest score of the night - a 9 from each judge!!

And his body definitely receives our hunkiest high score… LOL!!

Even with some nasty injuries, Maria Menounos was still able to manage the second highest score of night… and definitely the seXXXiest performance!

She and Derek Hough were too cool for school, dancing the tango with her naughty schoolgirl uniform and their verry naughty routine!

Srsly, could their chemistry be any hotter??

Technically speaking, their links were incredible!! It's no wonder they scored a 26!!
