Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx is recovering after undergoing knee surgery on Wednesday for an injury he sustained while touring this past summer.

Based on his Twitter, it doesn't sound like he's in too much pain though!

The rocker announced to fan's he is under the car of his model girlfriend Courtney Bingham, tweeting:

"Surgery was a breeze. Now I'm under doctor @Ms_Courtney_B care. Man, I am so gonna milk this situation in my favor.;)"

Oh, the stories he is bound to share!

Rod Stewart is the latest rocker to sign on to tell his life story as only he can. The "Maggie May" singer inked a deal with Crown Archetype for a book to come out in fall 2012. No further details have been released and as of yet, the memoir remains untitled.

Yesterday, we reported that KISS frontman Gene Simmons FINALLY married longtime GF Shannon Tweed over the weekend in Beverly Hills!

Even though it took him almost 30 years to realize he wanted marriage, he seems to be enjoying it, as the newlywed rocker was spotted showing off his wedding ring earlier today (above).
